Just bought a Single/Double dose grinder which was overfilling my Rancilio 58mm Basket slightly until tamping, so saw this and decided to buy one. It fits the basket perfectly and allows me to tamp down my coffee without wastage/spillage. Little magnets keep it perfectly in place on the basket and it allows my tamper to do the job whilst still fitted, PERFECT :-)A great, well-priced product.

Good dosing funnel, with strong magnets.It may struggle with some nanotech baskets, but other than that it sticks very nicely, and very few grounds get attached to it.

After buying a new Eureka Mignon Libra grinder with Sage (Breville) Dual Boiler, I needed a compatible dosing funnel to avoid the mess and wasted coffee that I experienced grinding into the stock Sage portafilter.This has completely solved my problem.Magnets are plenty strong enough, it all fits nicely into my Eureka grinder. Because the funnel has a lip on the inside and outside where it attaches, it can’t accommodate baskets with wider rings like my IMS big bang basket. So the magnets don’t connect and it falls off a lot.

This dosing funnel does its job well, has good fit and finish, and is a good value. Some have complained about the strength of the magnets, but I don't think that is what is limiting how well this device sticks to the portafilter. On my Gaggia portafilter, the rim of the basket sticks up about 3.5 mm above the tabs on either side of the portafilter. The lip on this device is just a little bit longer than that (~3.8mm), so the magnets don't fully contact the steel basket. I don't have a need to turn it over in use, so it is fine for me. If I pull the basket out of the portafilter, it sticks very strongly.I think the magnetic attraction is good enough for my needs, but one could sand down the bottom of the dosing funnel (or file a couple of notches for the tabs) to allow the magnets to contact the steel basket if it is not sticking well enough.Alternately, Mii if you are listening, make the lip about 0.5mm shorter!

Los imanes son lo suficientemente fuertes para mantenerlo en su posición.Lo uso con el portafiltros original de mi Gaggia Classic y ningún problema, se adapta a la perfección a los 58mm que tiene.Como único comentario, es que a veces no lo uso por pereza, porque siempre queda algo de café pegado que hay que limpiar (muy muy poco en mi caso) aunque esto siempre depende de la cantidad de café que uses, en mi caso 18-19 gramos, y cómo uses el distribuidor de café.Yo estoy contento.

The magnets were not strong enough, and the ring keeps slipping off the portafilter. The product itself is of good quality and is made of nicely machined metal. However if the fit was better or the magnets were stronger, this would be a good product.
