Magic The Gathering 2023 Starter Kit - Learn to Play with 2 Ready-to-Play Decks + 2 Codes to Play Online (2-Player Fantasy Card Game)

For the low price, these two decks are actually really fun to play. I've won 6 games so far out of 10 total with my friends, and I haven't even played in 16 years. Good cards, no damage to them at all, and a steal for their value.

Decided to finally try out MTG and this was a great kit to start with. If you're new, start with Arena, the online multiplayer game since it makes the mechanics way easier to understand. I wasted too much time Googling and watching YouTube to understand all the things in this deck. But once you got it down from playing the videogame, these decks are way more fun. I wish they included a cheat sheet of what all the terms mean like reach, haste, trample, etc since a new player has no clue what all this does and a simple card with the 10 most common terms defined would have been so helpful. Again, play Arena first, since you can just hover your cursor over anything you don't know for a popup explanation, then the physical decks like these are more fun quicker.

Came on time as promised! The product is just as in picture and brand new in great condition. The box was not damaged, and the decks were individually packaged. It also came with card boxes, which is really nice. This was a birthday gift and my brother loved it. The pictures are vibrancy, and some cards have shine too. The game has a slight learning curve, but is really fun once you get it.

If you play MTG or magic the gathering for the first time or your a returning player I highly recommend this starter kit it has powerful cards crazy combos and more..The kit comes with a guide that can help beginner players know how to use and understand the cards. It comes with 2 paper boxes which honestly are pretty good quality. Easy to store almost like it’s built to hold cardsIf you’re a beginner, I recommend you reading the guide slowly and carefully because you can get pretty confused whenever you play a game with others

This is a good way to teach magic to a friend though I don't think it's the BEST way. Most of the cards are simplified and easy to pickup as a beginner but I do feel like the Jumpstart beginner box is still a better option

got these as a gift for my nephew and he was so excited. he even got a are card that he'd been looking for. the quality was super and they arrived on time which was important to me as they were a birthday gift. I will buy more from this seller again once the time comes.

If you can find these starter kits, get them all. Perfect for family game night, or just casual with friends. No one comes to the table with any advantages or disadvantages at all!

Bought this for a coworker, exactly what I wanted. Balanced decks, easy to get someone started, and is a good jumping off point for beginners. Always a fan of MTG, happy with this.
