Tested by burning its corner over cooking gas flame, Excellent. No flame, no residue, no ash after burning. The material remained as original. Recommended for purchase and I will buy some more.

Very good price. Gave one to each of my nieces and sister. Great to keep handy just in case of a kitchen fire. You can never be too careful. Fortunately, haven’t needed to use it yet. Hope we never do.

I purchased these Fire Blankets for added peace of mind in my kitchen and outside for my BBQ, and I’m really glad I did. I also purchased some as gifts for my family. It’s lightweight, easy to store, and simple to use in an emergency, per the product videos. The material feels durable and reliable, and I like that it can also be used for camping or in the car. Thankfully, I haven’t had to use it yet, but it’s reassuring to know it’s there just in case. Great product for anyone looking to boost home safety!

First of all, pay attention and use the product as instructed and pay close attention not to get the fibers into your hand. The makeup of this item is such that it works fast and works well but care should be taken to know how to use it before you have to use it. The makeup of the sheet is such that it has fibers in it and those fibers can, like a porcupine, stick into your skin causing all kinds of discomfort. When compared to a fire extinguisher, though, this product works great in snuffing out the fire before it has opportunity to spread. One bad thing about using a typical fire extinguisher is the mess it leaves behind for you to clean up whereas the mess is minimal with these sheets as there is no spreading of chemical all over your counters, stove, or work area. The sheets can be mounted to the wall around your work area or kitchen and out of the way until they are needed and although you hope you never need them they are right at hand when you mount them properly and the instructions, if followed, allows quick deploying of the sheet to effectivly squelch the flames or prevent them from causing additional harm/damage and keep them from spreading to other areas. Again please read the instructions as how to deploy the sheets, how to grab them and what not to do because doing so can preven you from having the fibers cause injury to your body while deploying or using the sheets.

Although I have never had to use one yet, it's great to have around. The size of them are good for the value, they seem durable, but have not had a reason to use them yet, thank God. I may take one camping next month, so I'll add more reviews then. Gave several for Christmas presents. So far so good. More to come

I haven't had to use this product personally but I feel safer knowing that I have them. I kept 2 for my home and gifted 2 to my daughter for her home. She had seen an advertisement about them and was getting ready to make her own purchase. I showed everyone in my home how to use them. We are prepared but hopefully we never have to use them.

2nd order, as we needed more for family and friends. These fire blankets are super easy to use, pull the velcro tabs at bottom (we have ours hanging on walls for easy access) and the blanket comes out easily. Throw blanket on fire. SO much easier than a fire extinguisher, that has a learning curve and under pressure at that. You can practice using these blankets and refold and put them back in the bag. If you practice using a fire extinquisher, you now have one with less pressure. We have them in house, garage, and in the glove box. Also very good price!!!

I never want to have to use these, however I am very grateful to have them in the home. Makes me feel more at ease that my grandkids would be able to use it compared to a fire extinguisher. We do have a fire extinguisher also though.

I have kept one of these emergency blankets in my pantry for awhile, but never needed it until recently. I accidentally turned on the wrong burner on my electric range and had a small fire flare up in a large pan. I removed it from the stove and covered it with the blanket, which smothered it immediately. I will never be without several of these wonderful items! It was easy to wipe clean and can be used again if needed.

This is the product to buy. I bought another cheeper product but glass fibres became embedded in my skin, causing pain. I returned it and bought this product instead because it had the best reviews. Sure enough, handling this product does not cause any problems - no glass fibres embedded in skin. Buy this one. Not the others.

Finally purchased a fire blanket for my kitchen after seeing them advertised. I got 2 blankets for the price which is a fair deal for the price. Installed it on the wall near my stove. It’s important to use a sturdy hook so the blanket doesn’t fly off the wall when grabbing for it in a fire situation. There are many fire blankets available and I hope the one I chose is good quality. I have no way to tell until I use it, which I hope I never do! I have confidence in this product. It does say fibreglass blanket on the front. I feel so much better with this in my kitchen, especially since my children like to cook. We do have an extinguisher but I don’t feel comfortable using that and it would make a big mess. It’s a good back-up to have, but the blanket will the first thing I grab if needed.
