Faulty goods, material went patchy and faded on first wash (pre use).Seller promised refund then denied receiving back (they did receive them) and then blanked all correspondence. Avoid at all costs.

This item is not 500 thread count it feels like cheap poly cotton it is very light i have a 400 thread count set which is twice the weight of this

This product states that it is Egyptian Cotton but it does NOT state that information on the wash label & it only says 100% cotton. So how can this be Egyptian cotton? Also like other customers have mentioned there's definitely a quality issue with this product after several washes. The fabric becomes rough & bobbled, I would avoid this poor quality product & purchase this elsewhere.

The higher the thread-count, the heavier the material and also the smoother, more silk-like it becomes.This material is light and has a rough feel to it.I do like it though, but it's not exactly the quality I was after.Should I edit this review, it'd be because, like other reviewers, it started to fade or fall to bits after a few washes. If not, then it probably lasted :)

Significantly rougher than I'd anticipated and the sheet feels like it has a different thread count for the top and bottom for the sheet(one side being noticeably rougher against bare skin), overall wouldn't say it was worth the cost.

When I got this bedding I was so excited to take it out and feel the soft Egyptian cotton! How disappointed was I?? When I touched the fabric it felt really rough! I actually did wonder if they sent me the wrong item, it really didn't feel like Egyptian cotton so I sent a message asking! What answer did I get back?? Nothing about what it was made of but a message telling me if I returned it I would need to pay for shipping and there could be a repacking fee too! This really wasn't helpful. I also cannot see anything on the item mentioning that it is Egyptian cotton but it does say 100% cotton. What I ended up doing was leave it in to soak over night in water and baking powder, followed by a wash with fabric conditioner and then I tumbled dried it with some dryer sheets. This did soften it up but would I say that is Egyptian cotton 500 thread count? No would be the answer. It does look nice though!

This is the 5th duvet cover ive bought in 5 years. The other 4 were King size but only 1 of them fits over my duvet properly so I got this Super king in the hope it would fit. Sadly it dosent, widthwide its ok but lengthwise its short just like all my others bar 1. Saying that, the materiel is ok and looks nice but the finish is poor, trying to button the end was like trying to button a spiders web there were so many threads but for the price its not bad.

Unfortunately not Egyptian Colton and not 500tc.You can see through it, maybe 200tc at best and just a regular cotton, not even sateen. Also I ordered silver, which is more of eggshell blue.Returned. I would keep it for £25 but not for over £40. Not worth this much at all.Packaging states Egyptian cotton but labels on fabric just state 100% cotton
