Love this brand. I have bought multiple pairs for my boys. They are always perfect. My son's love the inside not being netting. Comfortable and fit well. Fit true to size. Bought these for my 11 year old. Hes a bigger boy has always been 99th% for height and weight. Hes about 5'3 and ~105 lbs. Bought him a medium. They are slightlyyy big but stay up well with room to grow. Smalls work well for him too but more snug. The colors of the prints we have bought are beautiful.

My husband says these are very comfy. He wears a 32 sometimes 33 waist and the large fits great.

Both of my nephews love these swim trunks. One picked them out, and the other liked them so much he asked for a pair too! They fit true to size, are really comfortable, and look super cool. The zipper pockets are a great plus — perfect for keeping small items safe. They even get compliments whenever they wear them. Great quality and quick-dry fabric — perfect for the beach or pool!

Fits perfectly and feels really nice. I was surprised at the string endings, very sturdy and hard. I think it is some kind of metal. Made me think it was very high quality, I like it a lot. It bangs pretty loudly in the washer and dryer though since its so hard, so either wrap or tie it up or do something with it to prevent it from clanging around if it bothers you.

Over 30 days ago, I purchased two maamgic men’s 5-inch swim trunk w/ compression liner, medium size. My primary purpose was to use them for swimming laps, but I also wear them as gym workout shorts. FIT: These are NOT baggy shorts so there is no noticeable drag when swimming laps. If you are short in height. These are great. I wear a 29-inch pants inseam so the 5-inch or the 7-inch shorts would have fitted me. Since I was going to use them primarily for swimming, I purchased the 5-inch (when I measured, the length was close to 6 inches) shorts for more comfort and less drag. If you’re short in height with muscular thighs, the 5-inch will look good on you. If you’re taller and got skinny legs, the 7-inch shorts might be a better option. The maamgic swim trunks have two front mesh pockets, a zippered back mesh pocket, and a 4 x 8-inch phone pocket on the compression liner. As a workout short, the pockets are nice to have for small items like keys, drivers license, paper money, etc. Hot water (hot tub) and chlorine (hot tub / swimming pool) are the two biggest destroyers (color fading and weakening of fabric) of swim trunks. I purchased two SOLID colored shorts so that if the color fades, they won’t look as bad compared to bright colored patterned shorts when they fade. Brand new, the medium size shorts seemed to be a good fit for my 32-inch waist. They have an elastic waist band and a draw string. The more I wear them, the compression liner and the elastic waist band have stretched out more and more and they’ve become looser. The draw string needs to be cinched tight and knotted to keep the trunk secure around my waist. Instead of a medium, on my next purchase, I might order a SMALL size. After 30-days, the maamgic have satisfied my expectations. Their long-term durability is still a question, but the fabric and overall quality seems to be very good. The quality is comparable to more expensive and popular name brand swim trunks. For the price, and its intended use as swim and workout shorts, I’d buy them again without hesitation. UPDATE: I purchased TWO more. My first two did NOT have zippered front pockets; but they did have a zippered back pocket. My two latest purchases have zippered front pockets, but NO back pockets. The maamgic Amazon product page does NOT specifically identify which ones have zippered front pockets. The only way that I was able to identify those with front zippers was to look at the individual photo of the front pocket for the zipper. I use the two non-zippered front pocket trunks for swimming. I use the zippered front pocket ones for outdoor walking / hiking / jogging. The zippered front pocket gives me some assurance that my keys and wallet won't fall out when doing outdoor activities.

My husband has four pairs of these in different patterns and absolutely loves them. They are great quality comfortable and the perfect length especially for the hot weather in Florida. He loves that they have underwear and pockets.

I have brought these now for both my sons (12 & 15) and my husband and they cannot get enough of them. Gone are the days of the cheese grater mesh and the endless chaffing! These have come in especially handy at water parks, where you spend a lot of time walking around in trunks over just swimming. The colors are vibrant and true to their image, and so far none of them have faded. The shorts are a great stretchy, slight compressing material and the outer suit is your standard issue swim suit material but a good thick quality. My longer torso kid and husband, they do sit low on their waists, between the navel and hips and on my short torso kid, they fit right at the navel. As swimwear, they dry quickly, don't stretch and fall in the water, and would be great as just shorts in the summer if you wanted a dual-purpose item. Right now we have purchased 3 per kid and two for the husband, will definitely buy more in the future! Sizing: 15 yr old is tall and slim, in an XS (wears mens S in Nike), 12 yr old is long torso and stocky, in a S (wears mens S/M in UA and OldNavy), husband is 5'10 long torso thicker waist, in a L (wears L in OldNavy, L Nike)

These swim trunks ended up being an unexpected favorite for my husband this summer. We were headed to a theme party, and I needed to find him something pink and tropical. After trying a few other brands that were either too long, not true to size, or lacked a supportive liner, these trunks in the pink-black palm print completely exceeded our expectations, just when he was ready to give up. They fit perfectly, look great, and quickly became his go-to choice over other, more expensive brands. He wore them the rest of the summer, and now with a trip coming up, I plan to order him a couple more pairs in different prints for variety.
