I use the Vanilla if I am mixing other ingredients like fruit or peanut butter into it. Post workout and bedtime I use Chocolate because I only mix it with water.

Is your Hydro Whey Protein grass fed?

We've done a lot of research on this topic when formulating HYDRO and the answer is absolutely not!  That would be pointless and a waste of money.  Here’s why:
Grass-fed beef, poultry, and milk are in fact superior to their non-grass-fed counterparts because grass-fed sources will contain much healthier fatty acid profiles.  The ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6 fatty acids is much higher in grass-fed sources.  The same is true for the healthful CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) content of grass-fed sources.
However, in filtering our HYDRO whey protein to make it an isolate = at least 90% protein by weight, all the fat is removed.  So, any “grass-fed” benefits of a whey ISOLATE would be gone.
Most grass-fed dairy comes from New Zealand, where grass grows year round.  It is much more expensive to purchase dairy from halfway across the world than it is to purchase domestic dairy like most isolates available on the market today.
So, don’t waste your money on grass-fed whey.  Save it for grass-fed beef and poultry.  Make sure those grass-fed foods are also grass-finished.  A trick in the food industry is to sell grass-fed food that is also fattened up with grains before slaughter.

What makes hydrolyzed whey isolate better than whey concentrate?

HWPI has way faster digestion in the gut, faster absorption, and is easier on the digestive tract as the whey is "hydrolyzed" or essentially pre-digested; this leads to faster recovery, too.  No upset stomach!
