The softbox itself isn’t bad, slightly flimsy due to the actual weight and the front baffle sags where the softbox can’t keep its shape. It’s not structurally tough enough. Regardless to that, Pixapro (Essential Photo) have some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced, even the Managers are rude and couldn’t really care less about their customers. Will no longer be purchasing from them.

Pros: Superb even light across the surface, which makes a difference. Much better than cheapo softboxes from China. Softboxes with uneven light don't give me the look I want most of the time. Similar difference from umbrellas to softboxes. There's a small difference, which is important for some people. Great build quality. Holds up to a very surprising amount of abuse. Bowens mount, fits all my big lights. Cons: The one exception is the locking pin that holds the umbrella open. Because the fabric is so tight on the 120cm model, the large amount of pressure on the pin can break it, but if you're careful when opening and closing it shouldn't be an issue. Pixapro has superb customer service, so when mine broke they sent me a new pin the next day. (easy to replace in 30 seconds, it just screws into place by hand, no tools needed.) Conclusion: Great, but go for the 150cm easy-open if you have the space for using/storing/carrying it.
