I bought this product to open up my old laptop, which I needed to upgrade. I needed a pry tool and this was just the one. It was mostly quite okay, with only as few problems. The Metal Was a slight but bendy but generally speaking, for most low, mid-duty tasks it held up well. I use it for opening products with cosmetic uses specifically and this has no scratch effect. The different shaped tools and various types and materials allow you to have just the one or even use multiple ones for the Job. Definitely recommend.

I opened my Fusion5 tablet and then removed the broken screen in 20 minutes, so no complaints from me !

The actual tools required for opening up the GPS Antenna panel on an HTC Desire HD mobile phone seem quite hard to come by. So I opted for these as I thought they might do the trick; unfortunately the metal pry bar is too thick, and the tip of the plastic one bends too easily. But the advert does only specify the iPhone and iPad, and not any other type of mobile or tablet. The metal pry bar can be modified on a belt sander and thus I'm reasonably happy for the price paid.

I actually purchased these 2 spudgers for a special project and having successfully completed it have added them to my growing collection of dental picks, precision screwdrivers, tweezers and spudgers, all essential items for the keen DIY-er.The plastic, non-conductive, spudger was the tool I used most because I was handling delicate electronic components and the motherboard from an Acer netbook. The metal spudger could have inflicted damage. The sharp point of the plastic spudger never deformed despite considerable pressure applied by me. I did use the metal spudger to lever over the keyboard from the chassis of the netbook, my only regret being I did not have a second spudger. I did wish the metal spudger had a sharper edge to it for prizing open panels with narrow gaps between them.

If you like to tinker with laptops, phones or other small electronic devices then these little tools are handy for opening up cases. Both tools are not very durable and overtime they will wear out but at this price it's not a problem. Recommended for your toolbox.

Since I have to repair laptops from time to time, these tools are a great asset when it comes to removing keyboards, which invariably have retractable clips. And they're handy for helping gently lever off some of the small connectors attaching various components to the motherboard.
