Excellent but get professional advice/tested before taking anything!
Fantastic for information and to refer to when needed, however be mindful of the potential for taking too many supplements if you arenโt sure what you are deficient in, if anything. You can create an imbalance if you take too much of one thing and it could be very dangerous. Either consult your doctor or get relevant tests done to ensure you donโt harm yourself!

Encyclopedia of nutritional supplements
Quite disappointed as there is a lot of the book been highlighted by previous owner, also an older print than expected.

Full of Info
Great Book, The author Michael T. Murray always does a great job at taken a ton of info and giving to the reader with ease. I also have his book called Natural Medicine which I owned first and found the information to the point and the chapters well laid out and that allowed me to buy this book with confidence, I was not let down. Having such an amazing encyclopedia is a must in the days where everyone knows best but no one seems to be able to tell you why.

nutritional excellence
I have grown weary of Health Shop and pharmacy employees whos expertise is limited to certain areas of medication and their interactions. I take many suppliments and could not get accurate information on interactions, and other detailed information necessary to make good informed choices. Until now. At times like this, I wish I'd gone to med school, or been a journalist, to be able to accurately and succinctly review this excellent book. Suppliments and other medications can be dangerous together, and it is imperative to be informed, so as to only take what's both necessary and healthful. At last a book that covers EVERY aspect of supplimentation, and nutritional therapy. It accurately covers interactions, ACCURATE dosage, and dangers associated. If like me, you are bombarded with information from the bottles of companies desperate to sell you their product, regardless if you really need it or not.. then this book will be a breath of fresh air for you. Nothing is left out, only pertinent information left in. A real treasure for the health conscious.
