Qrity Euro Lever Handle, 2 Lever Lock, Cylinder, 3 Copper Keys, Zinc Alloy

Excellent robust lock and handle

Hi, I have bought 2 of those locks and I have to say, its not Euro standard, and the hole where the locking mechanism is, is smaller than universal Euro one. Please keep it in mind. Also the keys and different type and I had to order them online as none of 7 locksmiths i visited in Coventry had them, so keep it in mind if you want to have more than 3 keys, You need to buy them online. for your info - as I had to do the research for those. see below how to find them Qrity Blank Keys - 5 Units Door Handle Lever (ASIN # B075XFSB6X). The product is made in China but not to 100% Euro standards - but its working ok with a bit of adjustments. You have a choice to buy this cheap lock and possibly to do some adjustments or buy expensive one where the keys are available everywhere. I picked this option as I was sure I can adjust and set it to fit doors properly but the main problem is that key hole as I mentioned earlier, is smaller and you won't fit euro locking cylinder inside. Also the cover hole for this is smaller so no chance to fit different cylinder. that 2 mm difference is problematic here. If cylinder breaks or you break key inside, you won't find replacement. I tried, trust me. you will need to buy entire lock with cover, handle and cylinder with keys again. I have to give it 1 star as it costed me much more money to get more blanks and then had to go to locksmith to make them keys as well and it wasn't worth it.

While this is a decent enough package, and I got it to fit my door relatively easily, my issues came when I wanted to get more keys cut. Qrity have said that I just need to take blanks to a key cutting service and they'll cut new ones for me. However, I've tried all the key cutting services in my area and even spoken to locksmiths about it. The keys are considered security keys by the locksmiths and, as such, they won't cut any more without the correct security codes. The cylinder is NOT the standard size for a Euro Cylinder, so if you want to replace that, you're going to need to replace the whole thing - facia's on the door handles are exact size of the cylinder, as is the lock mechanism itself. So, if you want a decent cheap solution but only need 3 keys ... ever ... then you're good. If you might want more keys at some point, or considering swapping to another cylinder at some point ... this may not be the product for you.

So we tried to add this to old doors and it worked pretty well, needed some adjustment, but it fitted in locks doors well and is easy to use. 3 sets of keys , locks without a key from inside. Looks nice , silver color, I like it

Locks not always work on the uk locks.

Brilliant piece of kit. No different to fit than normal mortice locks (as long as you have the right tools). Handles are very stylish in an understated sort of way. Seem sturdy enough and just what I wanted for my man cave. I have been converted to this type of lock from the old standard mortice lock, and will use this type again in the future. Lost keys? Just change the key barrel rather than the whole lock - so easy!

Purchased a total of 8 from seller. By far the worst handles I have ever come across. We haven’t even moved into our new built home and the handles are all loose. The Carpernter had his fair share of nightmare putting these on. They come from China - manuals all in Chinese. The locking mechanism snd build quality is really poor. I contacted seller but had no response. Keep well away. I had them put on fire doors which are really expensive and now a lot of the mechanisms failed and the bathroom door handle jammed the locking mechanism. We had to break through the door. Yes a fire door!!! Buyers steer well away. All handles have come loose away from the body. Total loss overall, yet the handles haven’t experienced a daily use as we have just started to move stuff so it’s all ready for Christmas. Cost me a lot of money in labour and all handles have now been replaced. Seller hasn’t responded!!

Poor quality.Lock cylinder it's short and small standard.Even if I want to buy longer it won't fit.Hard to install.

Me funciona perfectamente, elegante, trae juego de tres llaves. A mi me la monto mi padre que tiene idea con que el montaje no es muy difícil.

Ricevuta il giorno successivo all'ordine, la maniglia è risultata molto gradevole alla vista, abbastanza semplice da installare e sembra robusta. Acquistata per sostituire una vecchia serratura da interno con chiave universale e dimensioni minimal non in commercio nei normali Brico (fate proprio attenzione alle dimensioni: è una standard inglese, ovvero molto più piccola di quelle normalmente in uso in Italia!) ha comportato minime modifiche al telaio della porta. Le istruzioni sono troppo basilari, direi inutili, ma con un minimo di manualità e di attrezzi l'installazione non è complicata. Bella l'estetica finale. In conclusione, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo e prodotto consigliato.
