Didn't work
Used this adaptor with a 30m run of ethernet cat6 and got no signal what so ever. Tried in multiple configurations and with a shorter cable but no better. My cat6 cables is confirmed fine with data. In the end I brought a Neoteck HDMI over ethernet extender on Amazon. This worked great, although occasionally needs to be reset. Upgraded to a AVAccess HDMI extender in the end but performance difference is marginal.

Ok for short extension I guess
Works ok over 2m cat5e. No signal over 30m cat6. So not really doing what it says on the tin.

Used these to run internet over HDMI
I used these to run an internet signal down as I had a wall installed HDMI cable and wanted to use a wired connection. My idea worked as we get full speed internet over it now.
