Great shoe
I am a woman and they didn’t have my size so I bought a 9.5 men’s. I always wear altras for running. I usually get the Torins but decided to try these for the price. I really like them. Good cushion a little narrower in the toe box and no weird tongue like some of the other Altras. I would buy them again.

Great Shoes
I recently purchased these shoes, and they have been fantastic for my knee pain. While they don't allow me to go fast, I still maintain a solid 8-minute mile pace, which is perfect for my practice runs. These shoes provide excellent support and comfort, making my runs enjoyable and pain-free. They are a great choice for anyone preparing for their next marathon. Highly recommend!

Top notch running shoes
I’ve been wearing the Altra Rivera 2 for the last year and a half, and was looking forward to trying the 3’s. Altra makes great natural feeling running shoes and they got it right with the Rivera 3. They have a solid foundation, with enough room in the toe box, and they look great! I can’t wait to put a few hundred miles running in these!

Good quality, weird fit
I liked these shoes but the fit was just off for me. Altras are great shoes and are generally comfy but this style just didn’t fit my arch and arch support very well. Ended up returning them but really sad they didn’t fit me.

Very happy with these.
Nice rocker, bottom, wide enough and great shoe. Doesn’t feel like an imitation.

Maybe for heavier runners? very uncomfortable.
I was hopeful with these shoes for a nice plush ride with a large toe box to provide a more natural gait, but the shoes are unsuitable for distance running. After only a few miles the fatigue set in my feet because of how firm the shoe is. I weigh 160, so I'm by no means a light runner, but probably on the lower end for this shoe size. The shoes have little to no shock absorption and the forefoot takes the full force. I have never had this issue before, even with zero drop shoes and barefoot shoes. I'm theorizing that these shoes would provide good cushioning for a heavier runner, but the foam is much too firm. The insoles are also flimsy and provide little additional cushioning or support, and my concerns and pain did not dissipate even when switching out the insoleI was hopeful that it was just a break in period, but forty miles in and the shoes are still having the same issues.UPDATE:Left them in the hot sun for a couple days and the midsole finally softened. After fifty miles the break in period is over and they are pretty well-cushioned. I do not regret this purchase at $75 on sale, but I wish I had left them in the 90F (32C) sun sooner.

Highly Suggest These Shoes!
The zero drop is something that you might want to consider when first wearing these. Maybe only a couple hours at a time before they quickly become your everyday shoe! Great for being active as well as just an everyday, comfort, Great balance of cushioning with slight arch support. The wide toe is also something that I was worried about at first. It only looks weird when you look straight down at them; from a side or straight profile, you can't notice it. Great option if these specs interest you!

Perfect Out of the Box
This is my second pair of Rivera 3s. My… 10th or so pair of Altra shoes. Love the no drop, wide toe box Altra is known for - and while I love the brand, this model sticks the landing on the best of all things right out of tje box. No break in and long lasting. Walk? Yup. Run? Absolutely. Anything in between? You betcha! Comfortable. Light weight. Well made. Long lasting. If you haven’t tried Altra yet, this is a great example. If you have tried Altra, you’ll love this model all that much more. Only downside is you have to knot the laces or they come undone fairly quickly.

Buen producto

Super consigliate!

Comfy bouncy flat shoes
I enjoyed my first two short runs on these Rivera 4. They run large for me, but I am not used to wearing foot-shaped shoes, and they might be a little slim in comparison to the other Altra shoes. Feels really good on my feet comfy and bouncy at the same time which gives you a little bit of energy return. Since the shoes are foot-shaped, I felt like to provided a little bit of stability which I like. The laces are not the best, you will have to double-tie them to make sure they don't loosen up.

Scarpe Altra
