Switch original internal circuit boards with new fobs
Got my old fobs looking new again. Although 4 stars for the circuit board inside wasn't the same. So not all buttons would work. Just switched original boards into new fobs and all is well. Or else I'd give them 5 stars.

Quick and simple. Good- Factory look/feel Button positions/names Inexpensive Bad- None Annoyances- Ahh... here's the rub. As others have said, there is a problem with the buttons on the ones(ordered a 2-pak of "gate" style) I got. Lock/Unlock work great. But "Lift Gate" and "Back Glass" have issues. First, they are reversed. But, that is easy to fix by popping the fob apart, separating the "big bits" and switching the two rubber "caps." HOWEVER, the button that works for the lift gate(labeled BACK GLASS on factory fobs and possibly switched as above) now requires 3 presses to get the lift gate to open/close. Otherwise, these are acceptable fobs for the price and quick delivery. I bought some earlier this year that had lousy range and I got fed up with them. Ordered these specifically because they were the least expensive I saw with the right buttons(that didn't work out so well). Would I buy them again? NOPE. Will I keep them instead of sending the back? YEP. At least for a while. If my 58yo brain can work in the change of button and extra press, I will be good to go. IF cost is key, these will do.

Exactly what I needed!
I purchased a 2004 Expedition with a single key and no fob. Thanks to this purchase, I not only have 2 fobs that work beautifully, I saved hundreds of $$$ by not having to go to the dealership for replacements! Super excited! Will search out this seller again for future replacements as needed!

Followed factory instalment instructions, car and remotes matched up but..... door lock/unlock worked, rear gate open/close DID NOT work, but it did unlock the rear window. However, the rear window button did nothing at all. Reprogrammed TWICE, went back to the original ones, and back to these. The result was always the same, door locks worked, rear gate button unlocked the window and the window button did NOTHING. Can't recommend them!!
