The material is a very sturdy hard coated cardboard so if you take care of it and store it properly, this should last you years. I decorate the exterior of my house for St. Patrick's Day every year as well as other special occasions during the year. I was looking for a St. Patrick's Day decoration for each side of our garage. I purchased 2 of these decorations. I am really pleased with them. They are the right size and design for what I wanted. My only question would be, since I am using them outside will they fade or should I clear coat them. I hope someone can answer my question.
