Horrible new recipe in 2026
Hey, if uouve enjoyed this coffee in 2025 or earlier, say goodbye—in 2026, they’ve changed the recipe. It now tastes like plant-based alternatives mixed with all the crappy mainstream brands I’ve been avoiding for years while converting all my friends. Whatever they did to it, it’s now undrinkable. 🤮

Doesn't taste like instant
I'm a bit of a coffee snob - I prefer pour over or French press, with freshly ground beans, and I'd rather drink water than most instant coffee. Then I stayed at a hotel in Germany where they had packets of Jacobs Kronung in the room. I was tired and really wanted some coffee so I gave it a try. It's not quite up there with pour-over, but it is miles better than any mainstream drip coffee. The flavor is rich without being bitter, and it's now my goto coffee during the week. Quick, easy, and delicious.
