2nd one I have bought, excellent and solid

This product is excellent, strong and reliable. We now have two of these combination locks to secure our equipment within our shipping containers kept on site as we are an Archery Club. I would also recommend this product for use on garden sheds etc as it's a small price to pay to keep your belongings secure. I would have no hesitation to purchase another should it be necessary.

I ordered four of these to go on hasps designed for them on the doors of a new hangar. First problem was the maker's dimensions did not allow for the button on the side which has to be pulled out to unlock it so it was very difficult for us to operate. Then someone dropped one 3 feet to the ground and the bolt came out along with a pin, a spring and a ball bearing. I was able to reassemble it with tweezers and a screwdriver, but in the circumstances I sent it back together with the three unopened ones and got a refund from Amazon with no trouble. I ordered 4 ABUS 190CS/60 padlocks as replacements and they are perfect.

It's a solid, heavy lock but after 13 months of use, mine has seized solid and even after soaking in paraffin overnight, nothing will make it budge. Very poor performance for the money. I won't buy Squire again - they are putting their name to inferior products. Also, it can be impossible to use with heavy-duty hasps and staples. In an attempt to make it difficult to cut open (good!) there is so much body in the way that it won't always fit (bad!). I had to reshape my hasp and staple - now unnecessary of course. DAYS LATER: I chanced to look on the Henry Squire website. There is an unconditional 10 year guarantee, not mentioned on Amazon. I emailed them, they immediately replied and said they will replace if I send it back. It's in the post.

Small, secure and well built with the added of enclosed shank protection.

Incredible product which enables proper security. This is my fourth one. The plastic casing does not last but the lock itself is hard wearing.

When you pull the black knob the pin does not pop out like it should I bought two of these one works fine the other dose not. Good build quality . The code rings only move in one direction I found this a bit odd

Utilisation sur barrière en forêt. Changement de combinaison aisé, forme rendant difficile son ouverture sans la combinaison. Un seul regret : écartement un peu juste pour fermer sur une grosse chaine.

Dieses Schloss wird vom Hersteller als High Security Stufe 13 von 15 beschrieben. Leider ist es innerhalb kürzester Zeit zu öffnen, ohne Kenntnis der eingestellten Kombination. Das Einrasten der richtigen Zahl ist deutlich fühlbar und das Schloss bietet somit keinerlei Schutz. Bei meinem allerersten Versuch habe ich weniger als 2 Minuten benötigt. Bei weiteren Versuchen brauchte ich teilweise weniger als 1 Minute. Ich habe diese Versuche mit geschlossenen Augen durchgeführt. Da kann das Schloss noch so massiv, schwer und stabil sein... die Mechanik macht das Schloss leider zu einem Witz. Ich habe mir extra dieses exotische und hochpreisige Schloss gekauft, weil es das erste Zahlenschloss werden sollte, welches nicht innerhalb von wenigen Minuten/Sekunden durch Ertasten der Kombination zu öffnen ist. Leider ist dies hier wieder mal nicht der Fall. Ich muss von einem Erwerb dieser Attrappe dringend abraten!
