We use this to identify if a cat is in a room or the room is empty. This helps when several people let the cats in/out of the room/house through the day. Especially since one of the cats doesn't get along with the others and must be separated from them.

I needed something customizable so I could identify whether or not a remote exhaust fan was turned on or off. Unfortunately the switch for this fan is electronic and of a design that one cannot tell whether the fan is on or off. I wanted something that I could customize myself to keep in my laundry room so that I'd be able to keep track of it's current on/off status. Enter this device. It was the only one I found on Amazon that was customizable. As the attached photos show I used my label maker and a little creativity to get exactly what I wanted and needed.The magnet is strong and so far the item is holding up nicely to daily use.

I bought this more of a joke than anything else. I put this on my home office door to help my wife and others know when I am on a phone call and should not be disturbed. My wife loves it because more than once, she has wanted in while I was having a teleconference. If my wife is happy, I am happy.

I bought this to put on my dishwasher door. Liked that it has a magnetic back. The labels were easy to apply.
