HerschelRetreat Backpack Mini, Dye Wash Black, One Size

I’ve already had a couple Herschel backpacks that I love a lot but I was trying to see if I can find another one that has a smaller size with drawcord closure so it’s more secure to carry when traveling to some big European cities. I was hesitant between Retreat Mini and Retreat Small but decided to give the Mini a shot — turns out this is it! My new favorite. It was so tiny but still with so much capacity. I could easily fit my iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard, a paperback book, a Sony mirror-less camera with an extra prime lens, aaaand a small pouch to hold some random tiny goods. I can even fit my 14 inch ThinkPad in it (just can’t really tighten the drawcord). It’s so light, plus the ivory color is so cute and versatile. Herschel never disappoints me!

I was looking for a smaller backpack to take on my cruise excursions to Alaska. The quality of this backpack is excellent, it’s made of thicker material and I have no complaints there. However I seriously underestimated how tiny this backpack really is. When they say it’s mini, they seriously mean mini. It does look cute, but the size makes it like a little kids backpack with barely any pockets. For the price of this tiny backpack I might as well just paid the extra $10-$20 to get a normal size one.

Beau format et confortable

Got this to replace my falling-apart messenger bag I was toting everywhere for YEARS. It holds the same amount of stuff, which is wonderful for my art-supply-and-epipen-carrying needs, but it looks like I'll need to find a new way to carry my water bottle too. My old bag had a mesh pocket on one side for it. Not a big deal though! I'm just happy to have something durable and waterproof!!
