I do not like to wear a lot of gunk on my face - including makeup. I like my skin to feel clean and not heavy with layers of stuff on it...not only does the feel of it bother me, but usually the products irritate my eyes. So having clean, light skin is important.My skin care routine is something I like to indulge in as a treat to my body each day. I like to moisturize, cleanse and I'm a sucker for all the cool beauty serums, treatments, masks, etc.I fell in love with Earth Harbor through a FabFitFun box, and since I work in front of a computer all day and I'm outdoors a lot, I thought this would be a pretty good product to try.This product feels great but goes on feeling sticky and heavy. It's a sunscreen, so as far as that goes, it's lighter than most store-bought sunscreens. There is no white sheen once you rub it in - and that's really the key. You really need a face roller or gua sha to make sure this gets into the skin - it feels much better afterward, with only a minimal stickiness. I'm not sure I would call this "sheer" - maybe if I didn't have a serum and hydrator underneath. So, as with all skin care products - listen to your skin. If it feels too heavy, try it on bare, clean skin and see if there is any difference. Try rolling it in. In this case, I think it will work just fine for me as a final layer once rolled in. I will also be looking at other blue-light products made by EH.Reason for 4 stars: This is my second EH product shipped through amazon and the second time the product leaked. In this case there was just a little product around the seal so it wasn't necessary to return, but it seems like the packaging could use some better seals. I know they are going for as little unnecessary stuff as possible so traditional seals aren't part of that, but these products could really use seals to keep them fresh and protected until opened!

. . . this is the best! I love Earth Harbor and have been trying out many different products. Love the ingredients, love the cute, minimal, and sustainable packaging. The biggest deal for me is that after many years I have finally found a sunscreen I can wear every day! I have been vegan almost 10 years and most vegan and cruelty-free sunscreens are not great. I tried a lot of them and never found one I could wear every day. This one is different and brilliant! It's smooth and light, slightly glowy but not oily. It sits well under my makeup and doesn't make my pores more noticable. I'm finally happy with how my skin looks with SPF on and my skin is looking great overall with use of Earth Harbor products. It has a nice consistency, but it definitely has a white cast. I'm bummed about this since so many reviews said it was pretty much sheer! I will probably go back to solara suncare for this reason, but I still love earth harbor for everything else!

LOVE this mineral sunscreen. I LOVE Earth Harbor products. Knowing Im using skin care with clean ingredients is the best. This sunscreen is light and rubs in effortlessly. It is lightweight and doesn't clog my pores. I use it on my face and hands daily. Will continue to purchase.

I've tried a LOT of mineral sunscreens. This one actually does NOT leave any white cast. It's great layering under makeup. It goes on smooth and soaks into the skin, I actually don't feel like I'm wearing glue on my face all day! I'm in love with this stuff. Just wish it were a little cheaper, but it's worth it for me.

Love this sunscreen but it didn’t come with a pump. Not sure if I’ll be able to get it out of the glass bottle. Will likely return.

This stuff is amazing! Goes on smooth, does not leave a white cast, doesn’t irritate my skin and cheap! I tried a natural spf facial cream that cost me $150 and it broke out my skin so I had to return it. I’m so glad I found this.

Feels great on my skin . The only issue is that the pump was broken so I have to open the bottle to take product out.
