How far apart exactly are the holes in the toilet seat that are placed on the fixings? (The existing fixings we have cannot be removed)

I had the same concerns with holes and fixings, before I received it.... the seat comes with fixing and these fixings are movable to accomodate your holes in the toilet, you will have to wiggle the fixing to fit, unless your very lucky, but its not difficult and I'm not DIY inclined

It's very sturdy plastic. Easy to clean . Easy to assemble . Very good would recommend 👌

Would this fit n an old fashioned type toilet? I currently have to secure fitting scre from underneath which never seems secure.

It should fit but you may have to get different size Plugs depending on the size of the holes in your toilet it fits mine but had to get smaller plugs for my brothers as he had smaller holes in his toilet

I wouldn't think so. It is fairly robust. Unless you want to stand on the lid, no.
