Works great! This was purchased to replace an identical one that I have had for a few years! Takes up less space that other phone holders. I also love that you just pop the phone on and off without having to fit it into a frame. Easy to do one-handed. The adhesive holds the mount securely. I do wish they sold one packs, because now I have an extra that I didn't need.

These are great for car mounting your phone. We have bought several times and recommended to friends. We put the metal plade under the cell phone case and it sticks to the magnet just fine. A regular iPhone stays put, but a Pro Max or Plus can be a little heavy and may pop off in rough roughts. For interstate driving it works great.

So got these in the other day. I'd been looking at mounts for a while now and wasn't really thrilled at possibly clip-mounting to vent, and didn't want a windshield mount, so my options were fairly narrow. I thought I'd try these for as cheap as they are cost-wise, if they didn't work out I could just chunk them. I have a Note8 and I have a really basic cover for it that is easy to take off and put on, so I decided to mount the metal plate on the case rather than the phone as I feared the plate would interfere with the wireless charging capabilities of the phone. I have an '08 F150 and sort of limited to mounting positions so mounted the holder just to the left of the stereo. The holder sticks great and the case/plate sticks to the holder securely, so it was a win in that respect. The angle can be adjusted and appears that there will be no problems with it vibrating loose out of position or falling. So back the wireless charging..............yep, as expected the plate interferes with it, but I can easily remove the case and put the phone on the charger without it, so slight hassle there and hence the knock of 1 star off the rating. Cool thing too, is that this is a pair, so I mounted the other one in my car and same story there. Secure mounting and holding. However, I've read a few reviews where it fell off. It may be that it wasn't mounted on a 'smooth' surface as some cars have a 'granulated' or rough feel to them, who knows. I know that both surfaces I mounted mine to are smooth and I'm amazed at how strong the double tape is that holds the holder.

Took a trip to the coast with my sister and she had a similar phone mount. Had never used one but was immediately spoiled. Had a set waiting on me when we got back home. Now I have one in every vehicle I own and the work delivery van. My particular phone case is thin enough to get some solid attachment. However the case my wife uses is crazy thick and it just slides off. The great thing is these come with a secondary magnet for that particular situation. With it stuck on the outside of her case, you really have to yank on the phone to get it free. Super sturdy over bumps and the mount does not rotate once its set in position.

I've used this almost daily for the last 3 years. I can confidently recommend this to anyone. I don't need to write a long review because there are so many others that are going to say the same thing but I noticed the biggest reason for the issues people are having is the adhesive quality. I've only had to remount this one time and after I knew exactly why. You best place to mount this is on a solid/stiff surface. Most dashboards have this somewhere but on my 2009 Nissan Maxima there is a firm area around the display that I initially mounted this. It began to peel and fall off after about 5 months. I then replaced this in a different spot and it's been on this same spot, firmly with no issues, for almost 2.5 years now and still showing no signs of losing it's adhesive grip. The difference between the first and second location I had this is that the first spot was this thick and firm area around the console display but if you pressed it you could push it in a little. Think like a thick rubber floor at the gym. The surface was also slightly textured. Then I moved it to the second spot which was a solid and stiff piece of plastic that was surrounding the LCD display and it has been perfect here ever since. My biggest tip for this stay in place is to make sure you're mounting it on a nontexturerd solid and stiff surface. Do not mount this on something that is soft or textured.

I would really like this product overall, but the curved area is on my dash, my council, nor my windshield provide good spaces for me to use it. In the description, it said that it would mount onto the textured upholstery on the dashboard, but the suction does not work there at all. I will wind up using this in another vehicle, but not for the one I bought it for.

Works great! Comes with everything you need to mount it, as well as several metal pieces for sticking on the back of your phones! I'm happy with this product!

Product looks solid. The glue strength is really impressive. I’ve used pricy scosche holders before and the tape is strong, this one i’d say appeared stronger. The built quality is overall commendable. Bang for your buck

I was sceptical at first for the price. These are amazing phone holders. The magnet is super strong. It sticks really well to the dashboard. It’s ideal as there are two in the box along with extra metal plates and adhesive pads. Brilliant item, good value and well worth the money.
