I recently purchased the QUBO Smart Door Lock Essential from Hero Group on Amazon, and it has been a standout addition to my home security system. Here’s my experience: Security: This is the foremost concern. Ensure that the smart lock uses robust encryption protocols and has mechanisms in place to prevent hacking or unauthorized access. Ease of Installation: A good smart lock should be easy to install and set up, preferably without requiring professional assistance. Compatibility: Check if the smart lock is compatible with your existing door and locking system. Also, ensure compatibility with your smartphone or smart home hub for remote access and control. Remote Access: Look for features that allow you to control the lock remotely via a smartphone app. This enables you to lock or unlock the door from anywhere, which can be handy for letting in guests or service providers. Battery Life: Smart locks are powered by batteries, so ensure that the battery life is sufficient and that you're notified when the batteries need to be replaced. User Management: The ability to grant temporary access codes or keys to visitors or service providers is a useful feature. Look for a smart lock that offers customizable access permissions.

The installation was very smooth and the person who came was extremely polite and knowledgeable too. The lock has multiple locking features and we tried opening the lock with all the options and it is working fine. The body design is also very premium and minimal. The fingerprint sensor is very prompt and quick to scan. The app setup process was also simple and easy.

It is SMART till it works, I bought this to overcome issue with traditional locks in flats - forgetting keys inside and calling a locksmith to open the door. Got it and installed in Sep 24 and have been a champion for this product till yesterday when for some mechanical fault in lock I got locked out of my flat and my whole family lockedin the flate around 8 am. Repeated attempts from outside and inside the flat did not help in opening the locak - battery change, key, reset . Finally called QUBO helpline at 9:30 when they opened up. I was assigned a technician to come and help, he called me around 11 and had a video call where he instrcuted me to force open the door but to no avail. He expressed his helpness to come physically as he was out of town, I rang back the helpline and informed them of the situation, they promised me another techinican but till 2 pm no one turned up and all calls to helpline did not yield any result other than SYMPATHY. At 2 pm I had to call a carpenter to break into my own house, ripped open the front panel of the door to access the lock mechanism and realised malfuntion of spring which when released opened the door. I have since then taken the lock out and disposed of into trash can. Things can and will go wrong - it is the service that keeps the customer in, not only I did not get service in time but also got a call today saying that I denied the technician visit - obviously why will I need a technician when I do not have the lock any more and more importantly can not put by family through this ordeal in future when I have seen the QUALITY OF SERVICE - offers for free lock replacement was denied for this same reason. Posting it not to get SYMPATHY FROM QUBO team (nor free product) but to share my experience with potential customer so that they can make informed choice
