J-B Weld SteelStik Steel Reinforced Epoxy Putty

I've used various liquid metal and epoxy repair products over the years, but this SteelStik is one of the easiest to work with. Being a putty rather than a liquid, it's much simpler to mould, shape, and press into place, especially when repairing awkward shapes or filling gaps. Once mixed, it has a good working time and can be formed exactly where it's needed without running or dripping. After curing, it becomes extremely hard and feels very strong and durable. I've used it for automotive repairs and general workshop jobs where a strong metal-like repair was needed, and it's performed very well. It's particularly useful when you need to rebuild small areas, fill damaged sections, or make repairs that would be difficult with traditional liquid metal products. Overall, a versatile and very strong epoxy putty that's easier to use than liquid alternatives while still providing an excellent repair. Highly recommended

This J‑B Weld SteelStik is absolutely brilliant and lives up to its reputation. It is so easy to use – you just cut off what you need, mix it by hand until it turns one colour, then shape or press it exactly where you need it. It sets really fast in about five minutes and cures fully in an hour to an incredibly strong steel‑hard finish. I have used it to fix leaks, patch rust, repair stripped threads and mend broken metal parts, and it holds firm every single time. It works perfectly on steel, aluminium, copper and even PVC, and it is great for cars, plumbing and all sorts of household jobs. It is definitely the best repair putty I have ever used and I would not be without it.

Seems ok, it got me out of a scrape

Brilliant stuff for fixing metal items. Ironing board 'foot was coming adrift where it had rusted joining the leg. This stuff set in minutes and is still going strong after 6 years. But, it goes off after a few years, so bought some more to fix my rusty dustbin lid. Lid had holes and was getting bad. This stuff filled in the holes, I painted it and it looks like new. I wish I had known about this putty years ago: I could have mended all sorts of items! Warning: DON'T do as the photos show, and use bare hands. Wear disposable gloves. The instructions are to wear gloves, so please do. It sticks like mad and has toxic warnings. Yes, I definitely recommend it.

excellent stuff hit a rock and got a 20 mm crack in my aluminium sump pan. JB weld appears to have done the trick for now at least with no drips apparent after 200 miles or so. Very easy to mix and use make sure you do the prep though.

This stuff is excellent. Make enough to do the job in one go. Managed to repair water pump housing but that might down to me being very skillful :). To test the strength I used a rolled up piece and let it harden placed it in a vice held to bench with a G clamp and whacked it with a hammer....Buy my book to read the results.

Im sure it works on many things, seems like pretty strong stuff. but didnt work on my leaky pipe water still got through.

Brilliant. Very quick and easy to use. I used it to fix a castor on my footstool in the living room. So far, so good! Will definitely use it for some other repairs around the house.

We had a radiator leak from top and when we took it off the wall, we saw it was leaking from bottom. received this and applied to the top and botom and works absolutely well. and it heats the same level. This product can easily be used for products reaching as high as 150 degree heat. Very impressive loved it.

Muy buen producto para reparar hierro (en mi caso), destacanto su fácil usabilidad. Una vez que elaborar la mezcla hay que utilizarla rápidamente para que no se endurezca, o seguir mezclando para mantenerlo blando, es el único punto muy a tener en cuenta. Tiene una gran resistencia una vez secado, pudiendo lijar encina si hace falta. Muy revomendable.

Entrega mucho antes, calidad muy buena, lo usé para colocar soportes para extintores de 2, 6 y 10 kilos y funcionó muy bien. Recomiendo lijar ambas partes, antes de colocar el material, dejé secar un día y listo.

Well written instructions that is easy to follow. Easy to apply. After about 6 weeks, I do not detect any evidence of any more leaks. Looks like it has worked well.

Was skeptical about this stuff but WOW it really works. I managed to get a nasty cut in one of my tire stems from having to saw off a stuck metal cap which caused it to start leaking air and made it impossible to fill the tire. Decided to order this stuff on a whim in an attempt to save on a costly repair or replacement and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I shoved a little piece into the gash and let it cure for a day and my problem is completely fixed! Tire has stopped leaking air and fills normally now and the patch feels totally solid, amazing product for real.
