Excellent purchase and holds a ton of wine!
Have had this unit for a couple of years now. It is FULL and it does hold a ton of wine bottles (single layer). I think I was able to put in somewhere around 6-7 cases of wine (all types of reds but mostly cabs). I still had 2+ cases left over so I'm slowly working my way through it to make room. The unit is deep and the shelves pull out 50% - 60% of the way. I do agree that it can be a bit time consuming when you have to pull out the bottle in the back to see what it is. I need to find a better system to label the shelves - sticky notes don't hold up long term. It holds the temp very consistently, which I am very pleased with. I know earlier reviews had somewhat mixed reviews, but even in the middle of summer I think there was only a 2+ degree increase, which is fine for the level of wines I have. Sound is very quiet for me, but then the unit is in a room that doesn't get much traffic/use. I also used one of the pieces of Styrofoam that was used as packing material to cover the front of the glass door to help reduce light getting into the unit (probably not necessary but I figured it couldn't hurt). I would definitely buy this again and I had done a lot of research before making my final purchase. When I stocked it, the ambient air temp was around 65 - 70 degrees, and once it was full, I then turned on the unit. It made no sense turning on the unit and then stocking it with a ton of wine while letting out all the cool air. This worked for me. The racks are fine and have held up very well. I like the wood trim and have had no issues with it. Be careful when placing your thicker/fatter bottles as they will be more secure towards the middle of the shelf rather than close to the edges. Good luck with your decision - I am very pleased with this unit. Salute!

Little fridge
This little fridge is a fantastic value for the price. It easily holds a surprising amount of cans and keeps them ice-cold. The glass door and LED light look sleek in our space, and having a built-in lock is a nice bonus. Setup was simple and it runs very quietly. Highly recommend if you need extra drink storage!

Very impressive
I've had this unit for a couple of months now and I'm very impressed with it. First, let's start with its size: I am 6 foot three and I cannot see over the top of the unit; in other words, it's a tall unit with a very impressive look. Secondly, as compared to the wine fridge that I replaced, there is more than sufficient space for all the different types of bottles that you ordinarily would have in a wine collection. The problematic Pinot Noir bottles don't seem to be much of an issue as the spacing between the racks is sufficient to keep the bottle labels from scraping the rack immediately above it. One pleasant surprise that I had not anticipated was the depth of each shelf. Each shelf is nicely deep and is more than sufficient for alternating the direction of the wine bottles as you know you need to do on these racks. I really do not feel like I'm squeezing the bottles in tightly together in these racks . They're just seems to be a lot of space. Thirdly, the unit is very quiet. I was a bit concerned with a wine fridge this large that it would be constantly humming and making a droning noise. Ours is located in the room I use as an office and it is not annoying at all. The fridge as designed has a door that opens from the left, left to right. Given the space I had to work with, I really needed the door to open from the right to the left. Fortunately, you can reverse the direction of the door by rotating the door "upside down" and anchoring it on the left side. While the door works perfectly well in this revised orientation and seems to be designed to be reversed, you will lose the ability to lock the door at the bottom; your lock will be at the top of the unit where there is no corresponding latch. For me, that's not a problem, and I'm happy with the fix. To clarify, if you need the door to open from the right, and you need the door to lock, this will not be the unit for you. Finally, as to delivery, it was delivered as promised, and in one piece, and with no damage . The box, however, seemed to fare poorly during the delivery. By the looks of some of the tears in the box I was certain that the unit had been damaged or the glass had been broken. However, there was no damage. So how do I feel about this purchase? I am very happy. Of course, I have no information as to the durability of the unit. These are said to last anywhere from 4 to 6 years. I sure hope it last longer since it was not inexpensive. If I think of anything else, based on my experience, to add this to add to this review I will update the review in the future. In conclusion, I do recommend this unit and I do recommend this vendor.

Stays very cold
Really happy with this little fridge! It cooled down quickly, stays nice and cold, and looks great with the glass door and LED light. I like that I can see what I have inside without opening it. Fits plenty of drinks. It's been quiet so far, but we keep it in our garage so we don't notice the sound. Free'd up a lot of space in our fridge that we needed.

Absolute Trash Product Backed by Even Worse Customer Service
This has been one of the most frustrating purchases I have ever made. The refrigerator worked for only 7 months before it suddenly lost all power and would not turn on at all. Since the product was still under the advertised one-year warranty, I contacted the seller expecting them to stand behind their product. Instead of offering a replacement, repair service, or refund, their first solution was to mail me a circuit board and expect me to disassemble and repair the refrigerator myself. Asking a customer to perform their own warranty repair on a failed appliance is completely unreasonable. After explaining that I was unable and unwilling to perform technical repairs, I requested a full refund, replacement unit, or manufacturer-supported repair. Rather than honoring the warranty, the seller began offering partial compensation, starting at $25 and eventually working up to 50% of the purchase price. The situation became even worse when I followed up and received a message from Amazon stating: โThe seller associated with your order or inquiry has left the Amazon store or is no longer able to receive any further email communications.โ Now I am left with a completely non-functioning refrigerator, an unresolved warranty claim, and no apparent way to communicate with the seller. The product failed in less than a year, the warranty support was ineffective, and the seller ultimately became unreachable. Save yourself the frustration, wasted time, and money. I strongly recommend avoiding this product and purchasing from a company that actually stands behind its products and customers.

Stylish cooler
I like the French doors and the sleek handles that were a close match to the rest of my kitchen. Dual compartment means we can regulate 2 different temps if need be. The shelves are made of wood and the face (front) of it is stylish against the glass doors. But the way the shelves are built, they seem just a smidge too tight for 3 regular soda-sized cans to lay flat so it's not easy to slide a can in and out without moving everything else around. Also because the shelves have a supporting wood piece underneath, the second row of cans get stuck and you can't easily slide them to the front to pick it up quickly. Just small details that the engineering team should have paid attention to, but overall a nice beverage fridge.

Shelves Substandard
I purchased the Wine Cooler Refrigerator, 179 Bottles Professional Wine Fridge, Model KMHJ408-VELIVI. These reviews get conflated with other models. This is a first impression review. The vertical spacing between shelves is fixed, but you can remove a shelf and make it double high. The wood is just a trim in front, otherwise the shelf is just a wire rack so the horizontal spacing between bottle is also fix. The first problem is that when you pull out the shelf halfway the shelf tilts at a ten degrees, not terrible. But when you pull it an inch further it lurches downward until the back of the shelf hits the shelf above it, you better have a good grip on the shelf. In addition the shelf does not slide out far so the bottles stored in the back are almost inaccessible. This is a bad shelving design. I think that Velivi has an alternative model that the shelves lurch downward. The cooler arrived with a ding in the side and the interior has a strong chemical smell. The blue light is ridiculous, but you can turn that off. The controls are simple and easy to operate. Other than that it seems fine.
