Franklin Sports Sweet Spot Training

For those who want to level up their game, I highly recommend this training paddle. I’ve used it to practice and now I am consistently hitting the sweet spot when I play on the court. For those have a two handed backhand, the grip is long enough for you to use. It’ll be tough at first but it does help you improve your game

This paddle is a great training tool for teaching you to keep your eye on the ball all the way onto the paddle. My sweet spot consistency increased greatly as a result of using this for 10-15 minutes at the beginning of my drill sessions (as evidenced by the ball marks being mostly centered on my paddle). The only downside is the grip is way too wide.

This helped my soft game considerably by having to take it slow

The whole paddle is a sweet spot. It is teaching me to keep my eye one the ball until it hits the paddle.

At first, I thought this was just a gimmick, but it really sharpens your game. The smaller sweet spot forces you to focus and hit cleaner. After switching back to my regular paddle, I noticed a huge improvement in control and consistency. Great for warm-ups or drilling. If you’re serious about leveling up your shots, this little paddle is worth it.

Fantastic product to train you to hit in the sweet spot. Unfortunately they sent us an used one that has scratches and ball marks.

Great practice paddle. I use it to practice dinks, drops and at the baseline. It helps you focus and hit your sweet spot. It has a long handle so you can grip the paddle accordingly to where your sweet spot would be on your paddle. The only problem with the paddle is that it has a squareish shape to the handle. Nothing you can not get used to. For the price, it is well worth it.

Bought for warm-ups and drills. This trainer is about the same weight as my Engage paddle and the sweet spot is about the same distance from my hand, as advertised. I was able to apply a standard overgrip, even though the grip is longer than my regular paddle grip. I also wanted to protect the edge; a half length of carbon fiber edge tape was perfect, so I have a replacement ready to go, too. Many people have asked to try my trainer on the courts and express surprise at how much it helps in focusing on actively using the sweet spot and getting our feet to the right place to meet the ball. I feel like an unofficial Franklin ambassador at my local courts.

If I'm paying full price for a new paddle I'd expect a NEW paddle not a second hand paddle. Great sweat spot paddle, but poor service from seller.

I like this for what it is - a paddle designed to help you hit your shots on the sweet spot of your actual paddle. I find it light, and well balanced. I held it against my regular paddle to determine where I should grip the handle, and placed an adhesive dot where the notch of my hand should be, and that should help me transfer what I learn from this paddle to my regular game.

Great for drill practice, it’s a little head heavy, but I taped a couple of coins to the butt end at it’s more balanced.
