uni-ball Vision Elite UB-200 Liquid Ink Rollerball Pen - Blue (Pack of 3)

Bought this as an alternate to fountain pen for the kids to improve their handwriting. This is probably the closest we can get to an fountain pen style of writing using a rollerball.

I've always struggled to find a pen I enjoy the flow of, and which disguises that my handwriting is truly awful. This is that pen. It's very smooth and flowing to write with, without any stalling at all - such as you get from many other ballpoints, even those costing a lot more. It's simply a joy to use, and I say that as someone who's always hated writing and prefered a keyboard even at school. I went for the blue ink this time, and the colour is lovely. They also seem to last a long time as they contain a lot of ink compared to a cheaper "Biro" type with a tube. I've never had one of these leak either. Cannot recommend enough.

Excellent for clear distinct writing and rolls well.

very comfortable writing. much better than ball point pens. They seem to glide on paper much better than other roller ball pens or thin markers I've used before. I'd definitely buy again.
