This book was clearly VERY well thought out. It’s simple yet aesthetic. It gives great visuals while catering two different ways that people read patterns. It has the picture of the pattern and then it also has it written out in case you don’t read the pictures. But in case you do want to learn and also offers explanations on how to read and hints. One of my favorite features is that it is completely full of ideas front to back. There’s not a lot of extra pages of a bunch of useless stuff. I feel like I got my moneys worth and then some.

Inspo overload!!!What really sets it apart is the format: you can mix and match panels and patterns to create something totally your own. It’s perfect if you love having creative freedom with your projects.I’m already working on a mix-and-match blanket for this winter and can’t wait to see it come together. This book is such a gem for any crochet lover who wants modern design with tons of flexibility.

I love the whole package on this book.The author herself rocks. She’s in this with you and a terrific teacher - she’s finally simplified the ‘pattern science’ of the craft, presenting a really diverse and creative collection of pattern “strips” which you can mix/match or just build the whole thing off of - and her delivery of instruction is clear, thorough and accurate. She walks you thru from start to finish including connection. If u treat this as a manual/hands-on toolbox, it’s loaded.This crocheting method was exactly the refresher I needed to start my holiday projects - you WILL be inspired no matter what your niche is…hands down. She kept it that level. So yep - any level crocheter will be able to utilize this thing all day.If you’re concerned whether you’ll be able to follow her patterns, you will! Just use the book - she wrote it as a crochet pattern guide AND an A-Z instructional reference. I friggin LOVE THIS BOOK!

I've made two projects from the book so far. The designs are modern and so pretty, and I'm pleased with how they turned out. The instructions are very clear, and at the back of the book, there are step-by-step instructions with photos for every stitch. This book is well worth the price.

I was really impressed with this book. It not only has wonderful design elements, it also has great stitch descriptions and very complete instructions. It is really a must have for any crochet enthusiast.I don’t know if I will get around to making the projects but I will enjoy having the new stitches, shown through out. The book itself is very well illustrated with both pictures and charts. So well done!

The best!! The stitches are easy to do and there are so many to choose from and play with. I love being able to design my own blanket using strips instead of squares. This is by far my most favorite crochet book!
