Series 9 All-in-One Multi Grooming Kit for Men, 13-in-1 Beard Trimmer, Body Groomer, Hair Clipper and Manscaping for Face & Body, 9440

(This was written after about three months of use.) I have a thick beard and was looking for something beyond the typical 10mm lengths. This fit that bill spectacularly. I tried or evaluated a few alternatives (Philips, Wahl, other Brauns, and some smaller brands) and found them all lacking in some key metric or usage. I would absolutely recommend this option, even at the higher price point. Pros: - Strong motor has no issues cutting a lot of hair with single pass - Battery lasts a while without charging, and the charge indicator is a really helpful detail - Accessories cover everything I need without a lot of extras (certainly less than some alternative products, like the fancy Philips or Wahls) - Adjustable length guards are solid, don't bend, and I certainly don't notice any vertical wobble (meaning variation in the length while trimming), even with force applied. - Shaver attachment is better than my old one, and works reasonably well. - Easy to use. You might think this would be the default, but see my review of the Wahl I tried for how to fail at this. - Waterproof is the best thing ever. Not that I expected this to fail here, just saying how much I like this feature. Cons: - Trimming a line without the guards doesn't result in the sharpest line ever; the Wahl was much better here. - The shaver works, but it's not the best one ever (though of you're buying this for the shaver, maybe consider a dedicated electric razor) - I'm not sold on the necessity of the length-lock feature. Is this a con? Well, you pay more for it, so it is in that sense, but it definitely speaks to the quality of the attachment mechanism that it doesn't slip readily without the lock enabled. However, I'm betting that this will be more useful as the trimmer ages. - I have a similar feeling about the power-lock feature. Is this really a feature when there's a hard case? Not for me, personally. - The case is middling. It's a hard shell, which is really nice, but I cannot figure out how to nicely store more than the razor, two or three attachments, and the large length guard. Do I need more than that? Maybe not. But it's still a bit of a let down. - Charging with a standard plug instead of USB-C is disappointing. Though because the battery lasts so long, it's not a deal breaker. Overall, definitely a positive experience with this trimmer. Would recommend.

One of the best shaving took kits. Ive bought 4 different ones until i found this, cut is smooth, non irritable, straight, comes with beard trimming straight tool, and honestly really great quality! Parts are replaceable too, there’s a website if you want a new head in case. But after a year and half of use, they still are razor sharp as new! You can alter length for cleanest faded use pro contour to shave your head if you’re bald and it’s too long for your skin-cut trimmer. And very sturdy, I’ve dropped so many times but it hasn’t broken. The rotators length makes it perfect for fading the beard or temples. Easy to use, light, good ergonomics!

This shaver is pretty excellent. I have always used Braun for the body and facial hair as it has the best cut for black men's hair thickness durability. I really love the refinement of the metal heads and the fit and finish is excellent for the components except for the silver face of the body. That surface does not provide enough grip. I find that the side material provides far more grip than that does. Also the back ridges are not as grippy and as comfortable as the side material. The other reason besides the grip that I am not giving 5 stars for is that the case doesn't fit all the attachments.

Braun is the best. I love this shaver. Shave my entire head with in minutes. Smooth and easy. No going back over the same spot. Get it first swipe. It’s great for shaving your head if you don’t want it all the way to the skin. This gets you on the cusp. I love it. BUY IT…NOW!!!

I’ve had my Braun shaver for a little over a year now, and while there are a couple of things I like about it, mainly the simple dial system and the fact that it’s easy to hold, the overall experience has been incredibly frustrating. Honestly, it’s one of the worst grooming products I’ve ever used. The biggest issue is the attachable head. It just doesn’t stay locked in place. From the start, it would pop off or fail to fully click in, no matter how carefully I tried to secure it. Within the first month, the dial mechanism even got stuck, and ever since then I haven’t been able to access any of the higher trimming levels. I’ve tried a number of things to fix it. Anything above an 7.5 is unreachable because the dial stops and locks around level 2.5 which is considered a 0.5mm due to the issue (screenshotted). Because the head doesn’t reliably lock, I’ve had countless accidental horrible trims on mustache, beard, goatee, etc. You think it’s set, but unless it’s pushed in with just the right amount of force, it’s not actually secure, and the slightest movement can shift it. It’s happened so many times that I’ve completely lost trust in using it. For all of these reasons, I strongly recommend against buying this product. It has been, no exaggeration, one of the most horrible, most disappointing grooming tools I’ve ever used in my life.

I have a full whole and thick beard and I like to play with it. My whole adult life I've always used cheap, low value trimmers thinking that's all I needed until recently when I've finally found myself (Beardly speaking) In a few words I know what's the style I like. Before this trimmer came into my life I made a couple of cheap purchases. The style I like it's 1mm overall with a 2mm on my chin and 2.5 on my mustache. The problem was the other trimmers could not handle it on a daily basis. I am the type of guy whose beard grows back really fast so I'd trim my beard then the next day you could see clear growing and when I tried to do it again it just wouldn't trim the same. Id end up hurting my face a little bit. Not this trimmer. This trimmer can handle my beard on a daily basis without hurting my face. It's that good and efficient. It's built for heavy performance and durability. For the first time I am able to maintain my beard on a daily basis. The way it reaches the smallest hairs on your beard is just brilliant. It also comes with a detail head in case u want to reach those difficult hairs which I've been enjoying. In my case I got this trimmer for my beard (Mostly) but I've also been using it for my hair. it comes with a lot of heads, It comes with one for body, hair, nose and more. The battery life is amazing. I can go a whole week without having to charge it. Gentleman if you value your beard then you should get this trimmer. This trimmer is quality and it's worth every penny. It's time to give your beard the treatment it deserves and it starts with this trimmer

This is an excellent shaver. I have rough beard and it cleaned up the stubble in minutes. I haven't used the other trimmers yet, but since this my 3rd Braun I expect it to do an excellent job.
