If you're right at the upper limit of small (borderline medium) is it best to get the S or the M?

I bought these for weight lifting. I'm a size up from the small/ medium question. I had to decide between medium and large. I was right on the borderline and went up to large. I'm glad I did. In my experience the gloves seem to get tighter as I workout. Maybe there's more blood being forced into the hands fingers when I grip weights. I think the medium gloves would have restricted my hands and would not have been as comfortable as the large gloves are.

I used these for months and never had a problem then I wash them in a bucket and now they stain my hands whats up?

This may sound counterintuitive, I don’t was my gloves. My hands don’t sweat a lot and, TMI, they are not malodorous. Perhaps a cycle in the washing machine and lay out until dry. Sorry I couldn’t be of help. I’ve had several pairs and find they’re fit great and are very comfortable.

Is there padding in the thumb area like the other fingers or is it just leather?

I find the padding on the thumb to be sufficient, even though it is not as thick as on the fingers.

Pequeños y mala calidad… lastiman a usarlos

Vienen pequeños (tuve que devolver los grandes y cambiarlos por extra grande). La costura de los dedos lastima a usarlos. El material es muy frágil y dudo que tardan muchos usos. Los regrese.

Padding and comfort is solid, but durability is low end of average

I've been pretty loyal to Harbinger over the years, but in the recent years, quality and durability seems to have decreased significantly. I used to get 6 months to over a year, before leather thinned and the gloves had to be replaced. Now, in less than a few weeks, threads pull, seems rip apart, and my sub-par sewing is nothing more than a band-aid solution to a surgical problem. These are pretty much only used for pushing exercises now, and still last no more than 2-3 months before becoming unusable (see photos). It's probably time for me to branch to new gear.
