JEFlex Natural Silk Sleep Mask Blindfold, Super-Smooth Eye Mask

We moved house in August 2018 and I practically need a cave to sleep in. Our new bedroom was still too bright even with blackout blinds, so decided to invest in some new sleep-masks to achieve a lay-in at weekends (and not waking up at 5am in summer!) I already had a few eye-masks from long-haul flights, but they were getting a bit tatty. I ordered a selection of sleep masks in October 2018 and this is by far the best one for the way I sleep. As someone who sleeps flat on their front, moulded eye-masks tend not to work well - as soon as I place my face on a pillow or mattress, a ridged mask will move and then lets in some light. I thought that this eye mask would be WAY too big for my face, but the fact that it appears 'oversized' is what makes it perfect. I can lay on my front, put my face onto the pillow/mattress and NO light gets in! The material is so comfortable too. Really soft and a pleasure to have against my skin. I haven't found it too warm, but I am quite a cool person and live in the UK (not warm!). I love it so much, I don't want to wash it, in case it ruins it in some way. :-( I do have a spare, so I'll have to put one in the wash whilst the having the other as back-up.

Overall I liked it. My only negative observation is that it is difficult to arrange the eye mask so that light does not get in through a gap between it and the cheekbones below the eyes. I'd say it blocks MOST of the light but don't expect total blackness. You will still wake up in the morning aware of daylight I use it because a property at the rear of mine has a "security light" which spends more time on than off, and shines in my bedroom window through the curtains. Not daylight levels but enough to be annoying. Using this product I become unaware of whether this "security light" is on or off, which is why I bought it. For the price, I'm not going to argue.

Used while on nights to improve sleep during the day, blocks out the light well and comfortable to wear. Good value.

I bought this to use now in these summer months as it is light at 4 in the morning. I was thinking of getting blackout curtains as mine are practically see-through, but bought this instead. I used it last night for the first time and for the first time in weeks did not wake up at the crack of dawn! It is so soft and comfortable and you can adjust the elastic around your head to suit yourself. I was not even aware that I was wearing it. It is an excellent product and has saved me the expense of buying new curtains!! (It's nothing like those cheap ones they give you on planes - this one is actually comfortable over your eyes).

My husband sleeps fitfully, and hates being in a completely dark room, so turns on a very low light if he wakes up. This always wakes me, and I often then find it difficult to get back to sleep. I have tried various other masks, and never found one that works for me. I was not very hopeful when I ordered this, but it has turned out to be a complete success. The adjustable strap means that it does not slide around if I turn over, and there is no light leakage at all around the edges. Highly recommended.

The eye mask is decent quality, feels soft, but will not last you past a year, spend a few extra bucks and get one that lasts longer, also the silk gets wet easily and doesn’t feel great on the skin, so if you easily sweat avoid this product.

I bought this in 2020 and it has now reached the end of its life. This was incredible value for money. Buying another one now.

Trabajo de noche y los últimos 5-6 años las estoy utilizando. Es muy suave, se ajusta bien y cubre. Se lava, pero siendo uso diario recomendó cambiarla anualmente .

Los detalles que más me gustaron de este producto son: es compacto y lo he podido llevar a mis viajes si que me haga mucho bulto. Es ligero, así que sientes como si no trajeras nada, mientras te cubre adecuadamente de la luz. Es muy suave y tiene un acabado fino. La banda es ajustable y no molesta en la parte de atrás que es donde tiene el broche ajustable. El precio es muy adecuado. Me ha encantado este producto!
