Q: Why are people receiving opened containers of this gel?

Hey! Esha here, the containers are never actually opened, however, since we fulfill through Amazon FBA, sometimes the lid gets crushed during transportation and the container is split open making it look like there are half opened containers. We at Esha are more than happy to replace your order if you do find that they are damaged. Simply request a refund through Amazon and place a new order and no, we do not recycle the old ones either due to strict hygiene reasons.

Q: Does the coconut version actually contain coconut?

Q: Does it flake? How does it compare to neat braid?

Hi, our braid gel did not flake during the extensive testing we did when we produced the product right here in USA. However, we did notice that some of our customers will occasionally get flaking when mixing in the product with other products. This is likely due to chemical reactions with other products, humidity, , oils from the scalp, or just simply putting WAYYY too much on! We can't comment on comparisons, but we have to say that our product has extreme hold, and is a bit stickier than some products. We do have our conditioning shining gel, which is less sticky for customers who prefer a smoother, shinier finish.

Q: When people list " fragrance " as an ingredient and dont define what that "fragrance" is ; its usually some harmful chemical?

Will I have been using this product on my edges and it’s growing… so I guess any chemical that’s in this product isn’t harmful.. 🙂
