Yoton Y3 Mini Projector, 317g Ultra-Portable, 360° Rotating, Auto Keystone

Got this to ensure we can stay entertained on holiday. It is positively tiny! I was delighted to see my Firestick works seamlessly. Took quite a bit of fiddling about to get my Samsung S10 to work with it. You NEED C type USB to Hdmi converter (about £6) to project from your mobile as no Bluetooth. However, and obviously, you cannot charge your mobile and project at the same time because they use the same usb on the phone... wondering if I could use a charging pad though 🤔. Eventually found out to Swipe down mobile screen to enable 'Dex' to mirror the screen. There is a single foot to 'tip' the projector up at the front at an angle but I invested in a tripod for about £13 to save messing about. I also got a mini multi block as many holiday places are stingy with their power sockets! Currently looking for just the right size case to store/transport. Very happy with the picture and sound. For the price it is excellent value... as long as it doesn't develop a fault. UPDATE - In our holiday cottage there was no freeview or access to streaming services (despite advertising as such!) So we had cause to use the projector - it rained quite a bit... So easy to use with a Firestick. Sound is surprisingly adequate too! Brilliant.

Very happy with this purchase. Picture quality isn't as good as the quality on my Mac (that costs 30x more), but it's definitely good enough and does not ruin the viewing experience at all. Actually, quite impressed with the quality when taking into it's economical price tag. Had an experience with customer experience and was also very impressed with both the quality of the customer service, as well as the instructions they provide. Have had this projector for over 6 months, have dropped a few times, and still works fine with no issues and I basically have it running 20 hours a day. I originally purchased it as a starter projector until I find a "forever" projector, but have been satisfied with this projector I have yet to purchase the "forever" one. Have been using HDMI connection to AppleTV with another projector (the same one) also projecting a daily todo list (another AppleTV) over the main visual and I find it really helpful in keeping me on task, as well as creating vibes for working. Recommend regularly cleaning the device as dust enters it quite easily and can show up on the image. Also recommend buying a longer power chord as the one that comes with it is too short to really make the projector usable.

I'll be honest, I bought this Mini Projector with pretty low expectations because of the price. I assumed it would be a bit of a gimmick, but I have been incredibly pleasantly surprised! ​The Pros: ​Impressive Picture Quality: For a projector this budget-friendly and compact, the image clarity is genuinely good. It supports 1080P and looks crisp and clear on both a plain bedroom wall and a proper screen. ​Auto Keystone: The 2026 upgraded auto keystone correction actually works really well, saving a lot of time adjusting the angles manually. ​Super Portable: It’s lightweight, compact, and looks great in the yellow/white design. Perfect for a cozy bedroom setup or a movie night. ​Easy Connectivity: Hooked it up via HDMI without any issues. The Cons: ​Brightness: Like most mini projectors in this price range, you really need a dark or dim room to get the best out of it. It won't perform well in broad daylight. ​Sound: The built-in speaker is decent enough for quiet bedroom viewing, but if you want an immersive cinema experience, you'll want to plug in an external speaker. ​Verdict: ​If you are looking for a high-end 4K home cinema projector, this isn't it—but for £30, it beats expectations by a mile. It is absolute value for money and perfect for bedroom movie nights. Highly recommended!

Genuinely impressed with this projector. Bought with the intention to take camping and tried it out at home. For the price its brilliant, quality of picture is actually really good, focus ring works well, using hdmi or firestick is flawless, phone connectivity i haven't tried yet, connecting laptop was great. Volume is ok its not the best so may want speakers that just plug in via 3.5mm jack and your good. Fan is not that loud at all its fine. For £30 its probably one of my best buys in a long time paired up with a 100 inch screen for a tenner and my kids will be happy. So intentionally bought for camping now being used around the house and in the garden and movie night. If it breaks its £30 I'll buy another one its that good for the price.

Update - full refund offered. Accepted Thank you. Work very well for 5 weeks the protector has good image and sound. Easy set up. Disappointed that it advertises a phone but can only use iPlayer and YouTube no other apps. Need a stick or PC Laptop to watch other channels. This is only clear in the booklet after you receive the item. The remote eats battery power had to change every week thought it was low quality batteries so brought more better quality batteries same issue lasted a week. Projector stopped working reused to turn back in. All plugs checked not a user error. I have just missed the return period also so cannot get a refund. I have paid money but no projector.

Very good, except you can't focus the whole screen all at the same time. If the top left is in focus the bottom right is very blurry, and vice-versa, even when the centre is OK. The brightness and colours are absolutely fine, and compare with a 720p projector from 2008. The menus are very simple, and won't get out of date. Adding a zero to the price, and it would be going back. What I've done is move the projector back and zoom out, so more of the image is from the centre. A room with no other light really is a must, kind of means you settle down and get into whatever. No worries about moving with a warm lamp, or needing a shutdown sequence. The remote control functions can be performed with the buttons, more or less. The power is from an external 12V 2A power supply.

Listen I am in no way shape or form an expert in projectors, this is only the second one i’m trying out (sent the first one back) I wasnt expecting much I just wanted to be able to have some background videos to increase my readings ✨ambience✨ but after seeing how well it works i’ve been using it for Netflix and Youtube videos too. For the price I think it’s pretty good and you’ll probably not find one better. Super easy to set up was able to connect it to both my Laptop, using the HDMI cable provided and also my phone, using my normal charger. However it’s only USB-A so you’ll need an adapter if you have type C. The sound comes out alright and the projector itself isn’t super loud, once you get your videos playing you probably won’t even hear it. The projector fills up almost my entire wall, the screen is wider when I use my laptop then when I use my phone. I have the projector about 2-3 metres away and the picture quality is still really good. If you’re expecting amazing HD top notch quality then unfortunately you’re going to have to pay the price for it, but if you’re alright with letting the quality suffer a little then i’d highly highly suggest this projector

It’s £30, I mean c’mon now x Really easy to use- just use one wire provided to connect to your laptop, and another to connect it to a power source and you’re good to go! The projectors size is really convenient, and the little styrofoam case it comes in makes quite a good stand if you’re projecting onto your ceiling like me. The remote provided makes for super ease of use, I’d highly recommend this over the buttons on the projector. While the projector is a little noisy as you can hear in my video, it’s quickly drowned out by pressing play. Brightness, colour and saturation are all adjustable in the settings and it’s very easy to focus on the surface you’re projecting on to. While for £30 it is amazing value for money, I would love to see it as a rechargeable device rather than it having to be constantly plugged in to a socket, as well as Bluetooth instead of connection by wires, it would just make it slightly more convenient to use as right now you can’t be far away from a power source to use it- about 1 meter with the wire. However, as I said, it is £30 which, for a projector is SO good so I refuse to take away any stars from this review because of these minor faults I found. Ein kleiner und auch ziemlich guter Beamer für seinen Preis. Ich kann mich nicht beklagen bei diesem Produkt, da ich ziemlich zufrieden bin mit dem Kleinen. Schön finde ich die automatische Bildausrichtung, also dass der sich perfekt der Wand anpasst und ein sauberes Bild gibt. Zudem schön finde ich persönlich, dass der Kleine nicht viel Strom verbraucht, sodass ich den auch mit meiner Powerstation problemlos betreiben kann.

muy sorprendido, la verdad. Es mi primer proyector y quedo totalmente contento con la compra. A 3m de la pared proyecta una imagen de unos 260x140cm (más de 114 pulgadas de diagonal) con muy buena calidad y color. Las letras de los menús se ven muy nítidas. Podría incluso trabajar con el ordenador! Eso sí, con la habitación a oscuras. El audio tiene buen volumen y definición pero en mi caso usaré altavoces externos. Tiene salida jack tipo auriculares. El mando y opciones van muy bien. Puedes girar e invertir la imagen por si proyectas boca-abajo o desde detrás de una pantalla. Puedes hacer zoom de 0 a 25 por si quieres la proyección más pequeña (sólo reduce). El proyector tiene rueda de enfoque y otra rueda para deformar el 'trapecio' de la proyección arriba-abajo (no lateral). No he tenido que usar esto último pues lo he colgado en la pared detrás del sofá. Es pequeño y ligero, por tanto muy fácil de instalar donde sea. Tiene una rosca hembra, típica de cámara fotográfica. Yo he usado un brazo mágico (magic arm) para poder posicionarlo. Lo recomiendo. Queda muy bien fijado. Del ruido de funcionamiento, nada. Ni lo he notado. Ventila un poco de aire caliente por un lateral, pero no molesta. Debo decir que el vendedor ofrece regalos por comentarios con 5 estrellas pero habría otorgado igualmente las 5. Por este precio (casi 70€) quedo muy contento con el producto y cumple de sobra mis expectativas. Mi hermano se lo ha pedido nada más verlo funcionar. Recibido al día siguiente de comprarlo. Recomendación por si vas un poco a lo loco comprándolo como yo: ten en cuenta las conexiones! El proyector no tiene salida óptica ni 5.1, por lo que si quieres audio 5.1, deberás reproducir las pelis desde un PC. Pero por lo que sé, algunas plataformas como ¡Amazon prime! no emiten audio 5.1 por el navegador! (flipo). En la smart TV sí, pero no por navegador ni app. Por tanto la única opción de escuchar una peli en 5.1 será emitir desde un PC una peli grabada: imagen por HDMI y audio por una tarjeta de sonido 5.1. Uno tiene una smart tv con 5.1 y ya cree que puede ver la peli con lo que sea. Pero no. Éstas smart TV podrían tener SALIDA de vídeo! Suena absurdo, pero... Piénsalo bien antes. Yo caí en eso de "ya veo Prime en la TV con 5.1. Me compro el proyector y pim pam, lo veo en la pared a lo grande!" Pues no. No es tan fácil. La TV no es como un PC que duplicas la pantalla y a disfrutar de pantallón con el mismo audio. Nop. Es tonto pero caes :D Adjunto vídeo, espero que se aprecie bien el detalle.

I initially had a little trouble figuring it out with my amazon firestick. It worked perfectly after adjusting the resolution on the firestick. The screen is amazing and the audio quality is excellent. My children love it.
