Big Fish Toys Mass Effect 3: Series 1: Thane Action Figure

I have to say that when I purchased this figure and as I have read many reviews about it being the worst of the Mass Effect figures, my expectations were pretty low. However, when it arrived yesterday I was very surprised by the detail quality and now I have to say don't really understand what everyone was complaining about. The face (unlike the Miranda figure) looks perfect on mine with the sculpt looking exactly like Thane's face, paint work is great and not as bright as the picture that is displayed here either. His outfit is black unlike the picture displayed here as well and although again everyone doesn't like the fact that he only holds one pose, I think it stays true to the overall look of Thane and how he is depicted in game. His head looks down a little but can easily be turned, although he won't really look up; he also holds his gun fine and again doesn't fall off his stand at all. I'm not sure if I was just lucky but I was incredibly pleased with what I got for the price; my only advice is that before you buy any of the Mass Effect figures, look them up on google so that you can see what they really look like so that you know exactly what you are buying.Overall, very pleased with this figure and an obvious must for Thane fans who cannot afford the up and coming Sideshow Collectable mass effect 12" figures.

This is the figure that has received some of the worst reviews and seems to be regarded as the worst of the Series 1 figures.First off, like I've mentioned in the other figure reviews I've written, disregard the promo image. Many promo images show Thane in a light brown/biege jacket. The one supplied is Dark grey/black and light grey. He comes with a decent looking submachine gun. The pose shown is about the only one you can put him in, but the unfortunate thing is that if he is not sitting JUST right, there is a chance he will topple forward. Still, a nice enough figure but definitely my least favourite so far of the figures I've got.
