Big Fish Toys Mass Effect 3: Series 1: Shepard Action Figure

I bought this for my son, who is a major Mass Effect fan (me too). It's not really a toy but it's well made and seems quite durable. One shoulder guard unclips but a bit of glue fixed it.The assault rifle looks just like the ones in the game. Shep's finger fits nicely in the trigger.Of course, the odd thing for any owner is that it looks like the default Shepard in N7 armour and not like our creations. However, it would have been nice to offer a "Fem Shep" too.As a bonus, you gain an unlock code that gives you a free weapons package on ME3 Multiplayer.

I was reluctant to buy this, since I read a lot of negative reviews elsewhere about the lacking quality of the product, but my ME fanboyism got the best of me and I ordered it regardless. And boy am I happy with or what! In the screenshots, Shepard looks a bit ugly but I believe they have revised the figures and the one I got is so much better than the picture! The M8 rifle and helmet are of excellent quality as well. Another thing I was worried about was the off paint-job, which was also part of the complains, but I must say that the paint-job on the one I have is excellent; no bleeding on the edges, what-so-ever. Highly recommended for all ME/Shepard fans!

Shepard figurine, looks great and is nicely detailed.Because of some design choices (armor on shoulders) , you can't articulate the legs and arms in all directions.But you can make some nices poses with the character. knees, hips, feet all are movable/twistable.You cant sway the legs and knees all the way e.g. crouching, on knees isnt possible, but then again, Shepard wasnt ment to sit on his knees anyway.:-)

"I'm commander Shepard and this is the worst toy on the Citidel"When I recieved the figure it was Shepard from Mass Effect 2.Overall it's a pretty average figure.
