Always on after power blip, kinda cumbersome to get started
Light works well. Was somewhat annoying to get started with. Required updating firmware to connect ehich was difficult because you need to connect to update firmware. Trying a few different devices finally got me going and its been pretty stable since then - EXCEPT: we have regular small brownouts or short power outages being in a rural area. The light always turns on after a power failure!!! Since there is one almost once a day the light is nearly always on. So not really useful for saving energy or the fact its controllable really doesnt matter because its always on.

Works well enough.
This bulb works well enough, but it’s not perfect.The dimming feature works well, and connects reliably to a HomeKit network.It’s a bit slow. When you turn on the light from a switch, there’s a noticeable delay until the light itself comes on. It also has a bit of a high pitched sound coming from it, but you can’t hear it past a couple feet away.I haven’t found anything better than this, and it works well enough for what it is. If you have a light fixture where the bulb is not exposed, you can probably find a better and cheaper bulb elsewhere. For light fixtures with visible bulbs, there aren’t a lot of options out there.

Difficult to set up initially - Inconsistent performance
These bulbs are advertised as being HomeKit compatible - confusingly, there are two different Sylvania apps, and only one can actually configure and update the bulbs. Until they were updated through the app, Home was unable to locate them. At that point, they now have been working correctly and well without needing use of the Sylvania app; however, I wasted a significant amount of time trying to figure out why HomeKit could not add them and attempting to use the (wrong) Sylvania app.Edited - I originally rated these 4 star despite the flaws, but am downgrading to two. I purchased two bulbs three months ago; after a while I started noticing issues with one or both “not responding” intermittently. This wasn’t a *huge* deal to me as cycling power fixes it.Then, after just over two months, one completely failed, and won’t turn on at all. The second one is increasingly frequently failing to respond and I suspect it will also go dead soon. It’s possible I just got a bad batch, but still have to infer poor value for these given the inconsistencies.

Lousy app, constantly buzzing.
They're okay for the price, they get the job done and work with HomeKit. But unfortunately they emit a really annoying buzzing sound that only gets worse when dimmed.

Bulb cannot really turn OFF (just dim)
Information is scarce (what you find on the internet is may show different behavior, Sylvania apps describe things differently, etc). It took over an hour and numerous resets to get it configured on Apple Home (does not seem to work with Google Home).The light cannot really turn "OFF" - it just drops to ~ 10% brightness that still glows in the dark.(and no, this model is not multi-color as mentioned in another review - it is yellow-only. You can control brightness but not color. "Turn off the light " dims to about 10% brightness)
