Rockville RSG8 8” 300W 2-Way 8 Ω Passive DJ/Pro PA Speaker, Pole Mountable, Black

Item arrived in packaging. packaging was not damaged. When I opened it there were screws that had fallen out of the speaker loose in the box. Speaker did not work properly. Took a look through the grill and noticed the speaker was bent out shape and damaged. No idea. I am guessing it was damaged at the Rockville assembly site and no one checked it. I have purchased other Rockville products and they were all fine. Low cost but they worked out of the box.

Can not say anything bad about these speakers or the skipping . The sound fills the room with nice acoustic setting. Good deal amazing sound. I rate 5 stars on time shipping and exactly what I ordered. Fast friendly would recommend this product to anyone looking for that type of sound.

Todays is a type of speaker that we used mostly for shows or other outside events, and that is what I’m using these for. I took these outside and connected then to my Pyle Amplifier and that became my primary outside system. There not my best looking speakers, but they are built to take a little banging, I have them outside and the really fill up my backyard. I also have the pole stands for these and that is a really big help, but you can also just place them on the ground. They take Speak-on or ¼ inch connection and can also be connected in parallel with another set of 8 ohm speakers. If your looking for this type of outside speaker, just be aware that you also need the right type of Amplifier. I had them connected to a Pyle PTA 1000 amplifier, and the sound was loud enough for my backyard I think they are a very good bargain, for that outside event, don’t miss out on this speaker, a very nice spacious sound for the outside space.

I received the item earlier than anticipated but unfortunately it didn't work for my purposes (correcting it to an e-drum set). Before returning it I talked to a brand agent to try to resolve the compatibility issue but the solution would cost more (buying a separate amplifier). Please know that if you do return it, you will have to pay for a $22 UPS label 😑. Definitely painful if you're used to free returns other than that, the speaker seems okay.
