The Crema!
This coffee machine is fantastic. It's easy to use, and makes a great cup of coffee. I stayed away from the Nespresso machines for a long time due to the high price, and espresso only options. It wasn't until the Vertuoline, that I became interested again because with this line you get coffee options as well. Man am I glad I did. The pods are a tad pricey, but it is totally worth it. The cream, the flavor, the goodness. LOL. In all seriousness, this is my 3rd "pod" type machine. I have had a Starbucks Verismo and multiple Keurig machines. The Verismo was good, however, Starbucks seemed to launch the machine with zeal, then let it die a slow death. No new machine in years, and seemed to no longer display and sell them. I was told they weren't going to keep making them. So back to Kuerig I went. The pods are better priced, but no matter the coffee type, it always seemed to be either an inconsistent cup of coffee or a weak cup, even with espresso roasted coffee pods. Then comes the hero of our story. The Nespresso Vurtuo line of makers. I have to say, I was skeptical, and not expecting a lot from another pod machine. I was wrong. It is enjoyable, and an extremely satisfying cup of coffee, and espresso as well.*A word about the broken machines in Reviews* All the negative reviews seem to be about build/ship quality in regards to the water tank. Mine was perfect on arrival and no cracks etc. I think that the problem is the design. Most people are used to "pulling" tasks up and off. This one is more of tilt off then up motion. So I think it might be easy to damage un-intentionally. I also think its a good idea to watch the Nespresso YouTube Channel about your specific machine. Its very well put together and informative.

Flavor is consistent
The Nespresso Vertuo by De’Longhi does exactly what it promises. Drop in a pod, press a button, and you get solid coffee or espresso every time. Flavor is consistent, crema is good, and it’s fast. No tinkering, no learning curve. If you want dependable coffee without playing barista, this machine gets it done.

Great machine, with some flaws
Highly recommended but don’t expect this to last forever.I bought my first one less than two years ago and it produces great coffee. Yes, it does use the vertuo pods and they are more expensive than ground coffee machines. But it’s cheaper than Starbucks and some pods taste better. As my first machine machine neared it’s two year mark, the machine got very loud (think jet engine loud), and the turn-to-open pod dispenser knob slowly stopped working. So I needed to find a replacement. After reading reviews of the newer units, I decided to buy this older model again. The push button style seemed problematic with some dying after a few months. The newer turn to open models seemed better but some had problems. Not sure if it’s inferior parts, poor quality or something due to supply chain issuesSo I went back to the original. And love it. It’s quiet, the knob turns easily, and I swear it produces a little more coffee than my last one.I’ll probably have to buy another one in two years, but I’m okay with that

Coffee is expensive..
Was broken when it arrived. Sent it back . Got one elsewhere . The coffee is great but the pods are too expensive unless you buy the reusable tops and make themYourself.

Great machine...
My second Nesspresso machine in about eight years of daily use. The first, a Breville, was a good machine. In the end the Breville became too noisy for my liking. But it never stopped working. I passed it on to a friend.Anyway, I am pleased with this purchase after many months of use. It is quiet---as a new machine should be---and has a nice clean design.

Good machine but this is our third
We love our morning espressos and this would be the perfect machine but this is our third because the ball bearing inside of machine, that spins the capsules, fails every one-to-two years. We like this particular machine because it complements our kitchen. The machine starts to sound like a chain saw before finally breaks. This is a known problem with these machines if you look up on internet.

Wonderful Coffee Machine....my new love!!!
I received my Nespresso was so excited to make that first cup. I plugged it in and put pod in and hit start. No water. I repeated what seemed like 100 times. Looked up potential problems. Alot said air in the line. I blow thru mine with a straw set up I made. Still nothing. I finally called Nespresso support. I had a wonderful representative and he know exactly how to get it running. And within 10 minutes I was making coffee. The coffee pods taste so so good. Their not weak like my Kerig machine was. I love my Nespresso!!Hope this helps someone who gets their 1st machine and runs into this problem. Don't wait and try to figure out on your own call Nespresso!BEST COFFE AND ICED COFFEE EVER!!

So far...
...so good. Didn't know how this was going to work out. Definitely tastes better than the Keurig, however, the foam is a nuisance. The machine works great though.
