This rice cooker is perfect! The size is ideal for 1-2 people. Size was important to me because with a small household, I didn't want to feel forced to make large batches of rice and be unable to eat it quickly enough. I also appreciate the small size because it sits nicely on the countertop without overcrowding other items. The rice cooks evenly and quickly without getting sticky, thanks to the non-stick coating. I always struggle with cooking fluffy rice. I was happy to rinse, pour, and set without fuss, because the rice cooker does the job for me! I like fluffy rice, so once it was done cooking, it automatically switches to warm mode. Without lifting the lid, I let the rice sit for an additional 10 minutes. It was cooked to perfection. Washing is a breeze. Some sticky starch residue is to be expected, but it washed off just fine. It will sit in my cupboard nicely without taking up too much room. I really like the fact that I can free up the use of a burner and pay attention to other items cooking while this rice cooker does its job. Highly recommend!

I genuinely love my Macook Mini Rice Cooker. It’s one of those kitchen appliances that you don’t realise you need until you start using it all the time. It’s ideal if you live alone, as a couple, or just don’t want a huge bulky rice cooker sitting on the counter. What I like most is how simple it is to use. You literally just add everything in, press the button, and let it do its thing. The rice comes out really good, fluffy, and evenly cooked without any effort. I’ve also used it for other things like noodles and simple meals, which makes it even more useful. The keep warm function is also really handy because it keeps the food ready without drying it out. Cleaning it is easy too thanks to the non-stick pot, which honestly saves so much hassle. Overall, I’m really impressed with it. Compact, convenient, easy to use, and perfect for everyday cooking. It’s become one of my favourite little kitchen gadgets.

I find the "keep warm" feature annoying because you can't walk away and leave it. You can't turn off this feature.
