Genuine - not in its rawest form with sediment and nutty smell - but still delivers results all the same
Great for the price.Made friends with a street vendor in Morocco who told me how to check for genuine Argan oil and this seems to tick most of the boxes:Dark coloured bottle to prevent UV light from sun breaking it downFeels smooth, silky and absorbs into the skin quickly (despite the bottle being weirdly sticky?)Delivers results on my skin and hairThe only thing that I am slightly cautious about is the lack of that nutty/popcorny smell (probably because it is deodorised) and fact that the bottle is plastic, however, it's understandable not to expect a glass bottle and this price. If you found this review helpful, please do rate it as helpful – really helps me out!

It's REFINED and not the 'right stuff"
I should have known better. If it looks too good to be true it probably is. Although I wondered why this product was selling at a fraction of the cost of other bottles of Argan Oil, I was taken in by the words 'Pure' and '100% natural', and also a set of rather glowing reviews.I wanted it mainly to condition my hair. I've had a radical diet overhaul which has made my hair dry and frizzy. I applied the tiniest 'pea-sized' drop and brushed it through. My hair looked as if I'd poured half a cup of cooking oil over it.My hairdresser said I must have got the wrong stuff. I watched as he applied a teaspoon of the 'right stuff'; it had a particular odour; was yellowish and gave my hair a nice smooth look.Later, I checked the Naissance bottle label. It said '100% natural oil" not 'Natural Argan Oil' - maybe just a slip. But pertinently, this oil is described as 'REFINED'. I think this is where it falls down. It's like the difference between buying a cheap bottle of olive oil from the chemist and a bottle of extra virgin olive oil for cooking purposes.I'm now using this as a hand and cuticle moisturiser. I've bought a bottle of Argan Oil from The Body Source. It's much more expensive and claims to be 100% pure, organic, cold-pressed, extra virgin. It looks yellowish, has a slightly (to my mind) unpleasant odour but more importantly, it smooths out my hair without making it look lank and greasy. It feels like the right stuff.

NOT PURE ARGAN OIL
This is NOT 100% Argan oil. They have diluted it with almond oil. This should not be sold as Argan Oil. If I wanted a cheap oil I would buy one. Now I have cheap oil all over everything. The packaging says nothing about the other oil cut with Argan, and it is shameful as someone may be allergic to the oil. Please remove product until disclosures are properly made.

It is not Argan Oil definetly not 100% not even 1%
I wish I could give it 0 stars. I have bought 100% Argan Oil for years my original £11 a bottle has slowly sneaked up to £14 so I decided to try this as the results were good and only £8! People who are reviewing this clearly have never used real 100% argan oil before. It has a different texture and no smell at all. This is not a genuine product. I am so angry and am now fighting for a refund.

Just okay.
It's just okay, I think the problem might be the fact that it is deodorized, it just doesn't feel like the 'proper' argan oils I have had in the past. I'm not sure where the fad for deodorisation comes from, one of the main pleasures in plant oils is their very scent! However, it's good enough as a quick go to oil, I like applying it on wet hands as a moisturizer, but it just doesn't give me the argan oil feel I was expecting.
