Added this to my kitchen and it's turned out to be one of my most used items there. Have some other, some much, much more expensive grinders and these work so much easier that almost never use the others anymore. Recoomend them to anyone that will listen. Battery lasts forever and so easy to use. One of my favorite Amazon purchases.

Hello, I am a disabled/retired Army Veteran who has had carpal tunnel surgery in both wrists, arthritis in both hands, and sometimes I have a hard time with my finger dexterity, but I gotta say that this set was Absolutely worth every penny. It doesn't hurt to hold them and press the button, the grinding speed is also perfect, not too fast at all, and the light on them is honestly just an amazing bonus, it definitely helps me to see how much is going on my food, especially with the salt, I have slightly elevated cholesterol, so I use course Himalayan pink salt, so beneficial. It was not hard to figure out the course selector knob on them, got them dialed in just right. I would absolutely recommend this set to anyone who has hand and or finger issues like I do, trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Update 12/9/23: 5 -> 3 stars Purchased mid April, used until around August (forgot to update the review). The grinders worked amazing for a few months, but the battery contacts on the lid corroded and caused them to stop working.. I cleaned the rust off but it was only temporary. I'm not sure if it's the product's fault unless more people have the same problem, but you might want to be careful if you live in a humid area (e.g. store it in a dry place when not in use) or consider a different product. Might need a better seal for the battery compartment? We had them sitting on the kitchen counter. I decided to purchase a similar set that is USB rechargeable instead to avoid that issue, and it's been working well for the past few months, and they are white and black instead of the same color so I like that I can easily tell which one it is as well. Original review: Not only is this inexpensive at $15, it also works really well. Our previous electric salt/pepper grinder (Latent Epicure) was bulky, made of metal which made it heavy and rusted in 6 months, the button was on the top and difficult to press, grinded slowly, and was about $30. This Simpletaste grinder solves all those problems and uses AAA batteries which means it's even lighter (although battery life might? be shorter). I am using Eneloop rechargeable NiMH AAA batteries, and it operates perfectly. Pros: - lightweight and easy to hold - grinds quickly (maybe too quick?) - easy enough to fill Cons: - some salt and pepper will build up on the base, need to clean regularly - you need to be careful when removing from the base; you need to pick it straight up, otherwise the bottom will catch and move the base, likely tipping over the other grinder since they're top-heavy I think the Latent Epicure's simple dish base might be better, so I'm planning to 3D print a base like theirs to test. I've only had it for 3 weeks so I can't speak to longevity, but it's been great so far, and I'm impressed. Easy recommendation
