These are fantastic. I use them when I fly my radio controlled planes. Really useful as they fit over my glasses and the thing I like best is they stop the sun light coming in the sides too.

Absolutely magic.Made a huge difference when driving into sun and reduced glare to non painful event. Had early cataracts so was advised to get over sunglasses as reactolite lenses in prescription glasses dont stop IV rays through windscreen. So pleased. Such a good investment. Wish I'd bought them years ago.

Solarshield sun glasses are indeed excellent, particularly for people who wear prescription glasses. They are especially good when driving as they cut out glare very effectively and can be pushed up onto the top of the head when not needed. I already had a pair and was very happy with them.However the pair I was sent from this firm were far too big for me, so much so that they fell off when I put my head down!I remember measurements being taken at the shop when I bought my first pair, so I rang this firm to enquire if they had any other sizes. I was told that I size fits all! Not so.The Solarshield website( American) lists at least 4 sizes and goes to great lengths to explain how to order the correct size. I described my existing pair to the man on the phone and he told me they weren't Solarshield as they didn't make a style like that- I'd got fakes. However, the Solarshield site has my exact glasses on it! So, good glasses let down by lack of sizes and product knowledge. Buy elsewhere.

These sunglasses are excellent and very good value for money.

I bought these and the grey version too as replacement to my current (broken) Solarshield. From the description I didn't find size information ("product size" is not the same as proper sunglass size quotation), but on the picture they looked OK. They turned out to be way too large, almost double the lens height of my current ones. So the description needs updates. The transport costs were horribly high from the UK to the EU, which made returns pointless (I'd get about half the money back, so it's better to sell them myself locally). I guess the mistake is mine for buying them despite the high transport cost, but I expect to see size information in the description, so two stars off. Otherwise the products are of good material and assembly quality, the lens contrast, uniformity and transparency are good, price is good.

Slightly bigger than expected but better than being too small!

In the description the size of the sunglasses was not mentioned and by default Large size was sent which was very big for my husband.

My opthalmologist stresses the importance of eye protection when outdoors, and these sunglasses truly accomplish that. I actually don't wear them over prescription glasses, but really wanted a good quality polarized lens in a wrap-around style for outdoor wear. I first became familiar with the Solar Shield style when my opthalmologist gave me a pair to use after eye surgery two years ago, and I was impressed with the quality and clear vision offered by the polarized lenses. Having a second pair means they're always handy, for use outdoors around the house, or for driving.

They fit over my prescription glasses and block out sun as i needed.
