I needed a NIC for AoIP using AES67 so it had to support IEEE 1558. This card uses the Intel i210-T1 chipset so just what I needed but thankfully at about half the price of an Intel branded card. It was recognised immediately by Windows and drivers loaded. Intel have just released updated drivers so downloaded those for extra functionality. The card is very cleanly made and comes with both full size and low profile adapters, these are good quality, easy to exchange and made of decent metal. (not bendy with sharp edges!) It uses the short PCI slot so doesn't take up much space inside your machine. HP have lots of servers and business PCs out in the market and aren't going to risk grief by making a duff product.

This is a modern-generation (ie, low power, high efficiency) Intel gigabit NIC for the price of things that really wish they were Intel NICs. What's not to like? Ideal for adding Intel GbE to any system with an x1 PCIe slot. Comes with both full and half height plates in the box. I have a couple of these in different systems; one FreeNAS, one Windows 10. Painless installation with plug and play on both systems.

My onboard ethernet died so wanted a PCIX card which was hardware based and wouldn't increase precious pc cycles e.g. realtek! After researching intel NIC products, many are based on chipsets from 2008 or 2009! This is a later chipset and actually the best at this price point. Supports newer features usually found on server spec cards. Very happy with performance and is faster than the 'killer' junk on my motherboard

Fantastic product in fantastic price - what else can I say. If you buy same NIC but Intel branded you will pay almost twice this price. No brainer to me.

Excellent quality product, installation was simple, the network adaptor started operating without issue, recognised by operating system within seconds of boot up. delivery time was excellent, securely packaged and undamaged upon arrival.

Excellent item works as expected job done

This card refused to work in any of my PCI-e 1x slots on my Intel P55 board but I got it working as it only liked the CPU PCI-e 16x slots forcing me to move my GPU in the other PCI-16x slot as I had other PCI-e 1x cards to install.

I bought this product to replace the onboard network controller (Intel I225-V) on my brothers brand new Z490 Motherboard that has a design fault on that controller. Anyhow this item is a bit pricy but that is fine, item arrived took 5 mins if that to install and my brother now has a PC that can access the internet. So overall I like this product and will get another one if the need arises in the future.

Works great in FreeNAS. Bought this specifically after seeing it reccomended and the motherboard that I had purchased for FreeNAS had a realtek. Not to crap on realtek cause they do make some good stuff, but the underlying OS in FreeNAS doesn't have the best driver support. Worked out of the box, and is performing flawlessly.

I got this nic because I am someone who chases the lowest latency / delay while gaming (Fortnite) & I can say this the best option after testing other 2.5Gb & 10Gb nics. Way better than my motherboards Ethernet adaptors & out-performs my X870 & Z490 motherboard adapters. This is an old but gold adapter with continued support & offers the lowest latency for gamers. Very easy to install and it's a great price for what it offers. This isn't a guaranteed 0 ping product for Fortnite, but it lowered my average ping by around ~ 2-5 ms & noticeably less desync, my shots register more frequently, and I get less jitter & a trouble free stable connection. This feels like a lowkey *cheat* because I can take walls on opponents with lower ping than me & my builds / edits register faster. If you are into Competitive Fortnite gameplay then this should be a no-brainer.
