I managed to get approximately 5000 miles out of my bike before it unfortunately burned out. Considering this, I’m contemplating purchasing another one. The battery bag was cheaply made, and ripped instantly so I had to replace it along with the zipper. Apart from these minor repairs, the bike has a powerful motor that generates a lot of torque, and I’ve managed to reach a speed of 38 mph.

The Ebike kit is great. Everything works as it should. Make sure the PAS sensor is close to the magnets or else the controller will have a hard time reading the pedal Revolution. Again great Ebike kit!

This ebike conversion kit has been a source of great disappointment and frustration. When I first installed it, I thought I had spent my money well. The motor performed well. Acceleration was good, quiet motor, top speed (throttle only) was 32mph with my 250 lbs on board. I loved riding my new stretch beach cruiser, until after just two weeks and just over 300 miles, it stopped working. When I pressed the power on button, the display would light up for a split second and go out, no power, nothing would work. I checked all the wires tried it again to no avail. And after numerous attempts now, the display doesn't even light up at all. I'm in the process of trying to get them to send me a new display or controller (I'm not sure where the problem is actually, I'm no expert at these things). Seller responded to my first email within 2 days, but now I haven't heard from them in 4 days since my last email to them. This seller doesn't seem to be exactly eager to help me. I'll update when all is said and done, but for now, I would not recommend anyone by this kit! Update December 3: now almost 90 days from date of purchase still haven't heard back from the seller, don't buy this kit! Decent kit, does as stated. I bought 2 kits from Pexmor that have the same issue with the PAS levels. 1 should be eco and 5 should be max power which should control the speed limit. Example PAS level 1 speed limit is 10mph, PAS 2 speed limit should be 15 etc… but regardless of what level you set, it’s always max power. This typically means they use a generic controller and just include an sw900 display. I have purchase from other companies and their PAS level has no issues. Something to consider when buying from Pexmor.

The item was great and packed well

This is my first eBike build. Powerful motor. Have a few test runs logged so far. Did 20 miles yesterday and the performance was as expected with NO issues. Have to make sure the brakes can compensate for the new speeds. Makes it difficult to grab the standard pedal only bike now for exercise. Now a friend wants me to build an eBike for them, after seeing mine.

This is a great buy. I bought with low expectations because it was the cheapest I could find. I used on a custom bike I built myself with steel so heavier than most. Motors gave me plenty of power. Unfortunately I was involved in an accident with a car so rebuilding bike now but everything still works fine I just have to replace wheels
