Lots of C and H atoms and many inorganic ones too.
I wanted a ball and stick set to do organic molecules. This was the best priced set with the most balls. For example, I was able to make a molecule of an omega 9 fatty acid with 18 carbons and at the same time a molecule of glycerin. I was short 2 atoms of H. But when I did the condensation into a monoglyceride plus water, I got the 2 H atoms I needed from the water to complete the monoglyceride. Having this set helped me to visualize and thus memorize what is meant by amino acids, ethers, aldehydes, ketones, alcohols, etc. The fact that it also has many atoms for making inorganic molecules may be an attraction for buyers with broader interests than I.

Seem functionally fine, but contents of foreign made plastic unknown.
These seem to snap together just fine. There's not any way to tell what kind of plastic they're made of, so I hope they're not toxic. I don't have any reason to think it is or is not toxic; I just don't trust foreign made stuff in that regard. Hence, 4 stars.

Helpful for demonstrating chemical compounds to students
Quite a diverse collection of elements and bond sticks. Very helpful for teaching elementary level chemistry with real life demonstrations of compound formation.

Great kit for the price
Great kit for the price. Kind of difficult to tell the different between the sp3 and sp2 hybridized carbons but not a huge deal.

Very helpful!
Great for visualizing organic compound structures.

Great for orgo but not for upper level courses
Brought this set for my advanced inorganic and materials characterization courses. Kit isn’t really good for building more complex structures.
