Essential Guide to Power Platform Management Concepts & Successful Adoption
This comprehensive book from Robert Rybaric is a great guide to starting principles and approaches for the wider adoption of Power Platform at an enterprise level BUT it also contains some excellent "grass roots" considerations for SMEs considering the technology. The material on environment management and ALM concepts was particularly interesting recommending (not insisting on) pathways for successful solution deployment and broader Platform management. Highly recommended 👍

Relate your learning to Contoso Inc through anecdotes
I was recently sent this book for review as it's been refreshed and it's been a re-assuring read. I began reading this several weeks ago but finally got the opportunity to sit down undistracted on my recent week away. It's a detailed book. Covers the basics through the introduction to eveything you can think Power Platform, Power* (Apps/Automate/BI/Pages/Virtual Agents) as well as Dynamics and Azure Services. It then introduces to you in more detail to best practices, design archictecture, application lifecycle management, security, extensibility and integration and is honestly full of good tips, diagrams, screenshots and links to official docs to learn more. My favourite part is the storytelling, real life examples through out the book using Contoso Inc and their partners. The anecdotes help you relate the learning of each chapter to an enterprise customer.Definitely a worthwhile read for anyone that wants to understand the best practices and the efforts that go into managing and extending this platform as an architect. I will definitely continue to use it as a reference book for some of the process diagrams and examples alone.

A Comprehensive Guide to Solutions Architecture in the Power Platform
To say this book is a treasure trove of knowledge for those working with Microsoft's Power Platform would be an understatement. As an educator with a focus on the Power Platform suite, I wholeheartedly recommend this book for anyone eager to harness the capabilities of Power Platform, Azure, and Dynamics 365 to their fullest. From the first page to the last, this book exudes a richness of content that goes above and beyond the norm. It brilliantly dissects the complexities of the Microsoft Power Platform and presents them in an easily digestible format. The author's intimate understanding of the platform shines brightly, serving as a beacon guiding readers through intricate details, key features, and practical applications. The author has made tremendous efforts to include clear, concise diagrams to simplify the understanding of Microsoft's cloud structure. For visual learners, this is an incredibly beneficial addition, effectively clarifying complex structures and concepts that could otherwise be challenging to grasp.I found the end-to-end examples to be nothing short of inspiring. The author has truly mastered the art of marrying theory with practical implementation, resulting in examples that act as practical blueprints for designing robust, tailor-made enterprise solutions.Perhaps what's most impressive is the book's exploration of Power BI and its integration into the Power Platform. This deep dive is a testament to the author's comprehensive understanding of the Power Platform's full capabilities and showcases the holistic approach that this book takes. The author has done an outstanding job of not only explaining how to use the Power Platform's tools, but also how to strategically integrate them with various Microsoft 365 and Azure components for optimal performance. This strategic perspective, vital for technical decision makers and enterprise architects, is what truly sets this book apart from others in its field. In the realm of technical literature, it's rare to come across a book that's not only highly informative but also engaging, intuitive, and filled with real-world applications. This book achieves that balance, making it an absolute joy to read.In summary, this book is a brilliant beacon of knowledge for anyone involved in designing and implementing solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform. Excellent reference for anyone looking to design solutions on Power Platform and Dynamics 365
Robert has managed to pack a lot of useful content in this book to give Architects a good understanding of the different aspects required to design end to end business solutions using Power Platform & Dynamics 365 and also leveraging the wider Microsoft Cloud including Microsoft 365 and Azure. This book gives you a good high level overview of the ecosystem and then delves into other important topics that architects need to be familiar with such as environments, ALM, security, integration patterns and even data migration which is key in many Dynamics 365 projects.

Covers a lot of topics - a good update.
Brings together a lot of content that would otherwise be difficult to navigate through. Introduces Common Data Model and Dataverse, Dynamics 365 CE & F&O applications, Microsoft 365 (including Teams), etc etc etc. And includes mention of the almighty XRMToolboxI've only had a chance to skim-read through so far, but I can already see several useful diagrams I will be referencing in future.
