Another review said it didn't fit the G9 mark 2 but it in fact does, I had to search many videos before I found evidence that it fits, anyways its now his word against mine and it definitely fits the g9ii. I personally prefer the build quality of tilta over smallrig but I really use this camera as a hybrid and didn't want to take the cage off to due photography. Another plus about smallrig is that it is smaller than tilta and lighter, its not a bother keeping it on for walks or hikes when in photo mode. However I can easily throw on a handle and my ninja 5 and off to the races for video. I am having a hard time acquiring the hdmi clap as I bought the handle and cage separately, I would suggest just buying the combo and getting the clap included. The included key thing is really awesome, I haven't lost it yet and I use it every time I put the handle on and off. You really shouldn't use the tilta one until they figure out a way to not block the buttons on top, those are so useful for photo and video.Updated with photo.

Smallrig always delivers. This looks great on my camera and the quality it great. It's lightweight and I love the security it has do it won't come loose.

Fits great! All buttons and dials are easily accessible. Fastens very securely with the two camera strap tabs. An excellent product from Small Rig.

I first bought Tilta's cage, and while the build quality was great, it blocked access to the iso and white balance buttons on the camera. Not a huge deal if you mostly do interviews and setup work, but if you find yourself changing things on the fly frequently, I highly recommend this one over it.

I have the Black Mamba cage (a slightly different version since the cameras are shaped differently) for my Lumix S5 and have been pleased with it, so I ordered the equivilent cage for my new S52x. I works as expected; easy to install, hold the accessories I need.

So far, SmallRig’s cage works well mounting my S5 iix, Blackmagic video assist, SSD card, and Small pRig fluid head. It’s compact enough, that I hardly notice it when I’m just using the camera with no attachments. I can reach all of the camera controls easily, and it does not interfere with just photography.

I’ve been using this cage for a month or so with my new S52. It is perfect for my use. Not too big. Fits snugly. I am able to easily attach a handle on top or on the side when shooting videos. Highly recommend.
