Excellent book
Even though I been jewellery making for some time, it's great to have all those little useful hints and tips in one place. After all, you perfect a technique, move onto something else, and six moths later don't necessarily remember all the intricacies involved.

An Introduction to beading
Excellent general introduction to the many ways you can use beads.Although the book covers a lot of different techniques, the instructions and illustrations are clear and easy to follow. So if you are venturing into the field of beads, but not yet sure what you enjoy doing, you can experiment with the various techniques and then if you want to concentrate on just one, such as embroidery, you can go ahead and buy a more specific book.It certainly helped me decide what I prefer doing.

Pleasantly surprised !
I was pleasantly surprised, this book covers a good range of how-to in a useful and direct way helpful to a beginner and a good reference for the more experienced. It is not a project based book, which is good in my opinion, instead it focuses on teaching the techniques in a way that you can apply to your own ideas. I started beading back before there were good learning books available, and while there is a plethora of books available today only a handful are actually worth the cover price. This is one of them.
