Do they work similar to the aquacel foam adhesive dressing ?

Do not know. I bought them to make sure the podiatrist and district nurse had the appropriate dressing for my husbands foot ulcer that is healing. I was told by podiatrist it was. NHS GPs have not helped us at all.

The ball of my foot I see direct and need padding. Will this plaster do the job?

THE CENTRE OF THE PLASTER IS WELL PADDED AND GIVES QUITE A BIT OF SUPPORT. IF LEFT ON FOR A FEW DAYS BECAUSE IT IS SILICONE IT SEEMS TO GET A BIT SWEATY SO REGULAR CHANGING MAY BE NECESSARY. STICKS WELL.

Who would pay that for one?!

I use these 10 per box. I can get them on NHS. I have osteoarthritis and due to damage caused to veins because of the swelling, I regularly get what I call leaky spots. This is often just like a spot which then starts leaking liquid as it has no way of getting removed by veins as these are damaged. These are the only covering that soaks these leaks up. Usually start to clear up in a week or so. If I’ve not had a bad breakout, I usually just buy from Amazon as getting to see a gp to get them prescribed is so bad. The product is very reliable. Plus it is used post operations for wound protection.
