Best non-wheat pasta out there
This pasta is easy to cook and tastes pretty good in a flavorful sauce. You have to follow the directions (low end of the suggested boiling time!!) because if you overcook it, yes it will get mushy and gross. If you do it right though you can barely tell the difference. It has better texture than lentil pasta, no beany aftertaste like chickpea pasta, and this is the only brand I’ve found that doesn’t spike my glucose levels. To those complaining: it doesn’t have gluten, so it’s not going to have that gluten-y texture we all love; it’s made from beans, so it does have a very mild flavor if you don’t sauce or season it; it’s sensitive to overcooking, so make sure you watch it closely and it won’t get mushy. The only legit complaint is the price point, but I’ve found a much smaller serving fills us up, so an adult only needs about 1/4 box for a meal.

Love Kaizen pasta! I first tried the Ziti shape and wanted to try another version when I saw I needed more. Make sure to not overboil the noodles as it will cause them to be extremely mushy as negative reviews have said. When you boil them according to the directions (about 5-6 minutes) it holds up very well. To me, it doesn’t taste “beany” at all; just like normal pasta. I hope they plan to release a vegan Mac and cheese as I really want to try their Mac, but don’t do dairy

Ugh. Not great
I really REALLY wanted to love this pasta. I boiled it according to directions with high expectations for a wonderful pasta meal. There were several good reviews on Amazon. I had high hopes. They had a nice shape and seemed to hold together well in the water. Drained them and mixed up the sauce with them and they held shape. Took my first bite and it disintegrated into mush in my mouth. No chew or al dente like expected. Just mush. I threw them out and tried again. Same result. Absolutely tasteless mush so unappetizing. I wanted to love these. I was willing to spend the money for it. But I honestly threw the two and a half boxes in the garbage. What a waste of money. Sad.

Very good pasta sub!
This is a great high protein / low carb dinner option, especially when you are short on time or not feeling creative as it easily can meet your keto goals. I boil for a minute less than recommended as it gets soft very easily. Also keep an eye on the pot as it can boil over easier. It is pricey but a small business and in my opinion very worthwhile! I always have a few boxes on hand!

Cooks nearly like regular pasta. The taste and texture are slightly different, but this is the best low carb pasta I’ve found so far. The portion size is small, but if you’re buying low carb, you’re probably dieting anyway. I like to make a Greek pasta salad with this.

Be aware, it absorbs all the sauce, alters the taste and it is so dry you have trouble swallowing

Will buy over and over and…
What can I say? This is a top-notch product. I’m simply happier because this product exists in the world, and that’s a pretty big deal. I’m Coeliac, my husband is diabetic, and we try to lower our carbs when possible. This pasta is a science-send! It’s delicious, filling, fun, and will make anything a meal. Fair warning though — if you’re a ‘Oh, I’ll just eat a plate of noodles!’ person, rethink your entire approach with these. They’re made of fibre and protein, not so much carbs, so they’re not springy and they don’t have the same texture. DO NOT EXPECT THAT. You can’t have everything. They do taste good, though, and that’s what matters!

Too expensive for the texture
The macros are good but this just isn’t a tasty protein pasta. The texture is off putting and doesn’t absorb sauces like some of the other protein pastas.

We love this pasta! Can't believe this is low carb and high protein. After 6+ years eating low carb this is the closest pasta I've found to the real thing. Cooks up just like the real thing, holds onto the sauce and eats just like a big bowl of high carb noodles. Even the kids ate it and didn't notice any difference. Going in the regular rotation!
