Large pieces of ginger...easy to peal and slice.
I put ginger in some diet tea drinks and cooking. This ginger is fresh, large ginger root..making it much easier to peal and prepare. I'll forget 'grocery store' ginger root that is usually small ;chunkc'.This is my choice from now on.

If it is all good, here is a little trick I learned
Okay product but many were wilted and soft so unless you can use this quantity, go to your local supermarket. If it is all good, here is a little trick I learned. Cut up ginger and put in mason jar and fill with white wine. When you need ginger, remove the amount you need plus you can use the now flavored ginger wine for cooking but replace wine used.

Very fresh. . .
I tried starting ginger from ginger at the grocery store, but it just rotted. I think it was too old and dried out, and possibly sprayed with chemicals to prevent sprouts. This ginger is beautiful. The corms looks to be very fresh, and have several buds on them that are on the verge of sprouting. I am confident that these will grow.I haven't used any of this ginger yet in cooking, so I cannot comment on the flavor, but if looks are anything, the flavor will be wonderful. . . I highly recommend.
